I'm another SM player, originally Ultrasmerfs. I repainted the one squad of them I had as Imperial Fists and now I have everything else painted as Blood Ravens. I've also got the Orks from the Black Reach set. Eventually I want to start either some Guard, DHs or BTs.

My wife says, "Oh please, you are going to buy and paint every army, so don't kid me!" I can't help it, she is right and that is why I love her. SO, I have Imperial Fists, Tau, Necron, 'nids, Deamonhunters, and DA. Next I think are Witch Hunters.

Got to love AoBR. I got started with the two armies I liked the most and I've stuck with Orks and SM ever since (which sounds more impressive than it is, considering I haven't been involved with the hobby for all that long ).

I stick to one army, the Eldar. When I got into the game, they were the best looking vehicle units, and their fluff was awesome(well, the Fall not so much). Their playstyle has required better generalship that others on a regular basis, so it isn't an 'idiot army'.
I'm not the guy that plays the 'current powerhouse' list, or have 3-4 to choose from and pick the most powerful out of them to play in tournaments. I play my Eldar. When they suck...I play my Eldar. When they're powerful...I play my Eldar...but still a fluffy list, so no Falcon/Harlie or other moronic things to take advantage of the ruleset at the expense of anything that resembles Eldar storyline.

Necrons were my first and I stll have a full army of em
The orks were the army I always wanted to build and play with and now Im working on them
I have a decent amount of SM stuff that Ive gotten a hold of (one of those big strike forces that came out a while back and the SM side of AOBR) but none of it is built yet Im gonna make them a custom army that has a real story line that Im putting together in my head...perhaps Ill post a blog on dakka when I finally get around to doing them...but that wont be for a LONG while now!

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I run a sizable Witch Hunters force with guard allies-though its rather dated and I don't care for the metal models, so it rarely sees the light of day nowadays-, a rarely used swamp world Tau force with various alien allies that collect to experiment with more outlandish sci-fi conversion-jetbikes, jetbikes, jetbikes- and every one like swamps, and a cityfighting Imperial Guard force that has gradually been taking more and more influence from the Kerebos Saga's universe- it all started when I was looking for an idea for carapace armour... Other than the three main ones I have a small force of true-scale space marines that I made once upon a time for fun and as alternative allies for my Inquisition, a load of Inquisition troops- the chance for converting was just too much-, and the remains of an Undivided/Nurgle Chaos Space Marine force that was lost during a house moving. =P

Since I posted on page one a fair while ago, the Imperial Guard has been canned for another two years.
My Orks leap frogged the CSM to become my main army, and now sits (or is that stands, probably waagh's around the gaming cabinet?) at a healthy 3-4k in points. With two battlewagons, four trukks and plenty of boyz, Kans, various elite units and a lovely Scratch built Deff Dread that was my Christmas prezzie off Aurelia last year.
I have also just returned to Eldar as I noted in a thread in 40K discussions. They will be my second army for the time being, if not potentially my main army as my Boyz get put to one side as I fancy a different play style.
Although I will be taking my Orks to Lenton for the Doubles Tournie in Feb.
My CSM where moved out to the bedroom cabinets, which pretty much means they are in storage.
