I play Guard and Space Marines, a little bit of Orks that I'm planning to expand along with my plannings of a small Necron Army.

Deathkorps of krieg, CSM, Witchhunters and Daemons

i Have sm, necrons and started gaurd...

SM, Orks, CSM and recently added Tau. Looking to possibly do an IG contingent in the somewhat near future.

Started with Guard, got a Dark Eldar army next, and I've gotten started on a Blood Angels army. I also have a couple of Witchhunters models just to paint.

Tau, IG, SM, in that order. My neighbor just gave a platoon sized plastic Squat set....i will fold those into my existing IG army as a IG Platoon.... One question was what are the Heavy Weapons that the Squats have? Look like a shoulder mounted Heavy Bolter or Stubber? and how to use in current rules?

Make Squat veteran squads or maybe conscripts if he really has that many and use the heavy weapons as heavy weapon squads they would always be in cover hahah iam pretty sure the old squats came with a heavy bolter but i don't see why you couldn't just say its a squat autocannon. On another note i miss Lost and the Damned traitor guard isn't the same at all le sigh ....Still fun though haha

I am an ORK at heart. Was my very first army 10 years ago when a bunch of people in my first unit in the army (1/3 ACR ADA BTRY) got me into playing 40k. Everyoneone and I mean everyone played SM
There where White Scars, Ultramarines, Dark Angles, Blood Angles, Space Wolves and a few home brew armies but they where all primed the main color and that was it. They mostly liked the game not the hobby.
Myself wanted to do something different and picked up some orks. Fell in love with the green bastards. And they are fun to paint. I do have some SM but mostly from the AoBR set.

New player. Just started on my black templars army

Marines and Guard.

I must admit i havn't collected or painted any mini's, yet anyway.

When i do I'm going full out Space Marine!

Chapter will be a another issue there are many I like. Probably Blood Angels or Raven Guard or Imperial Fists, just to name a few.

Blood Angels, but even then just because I like A- Jumpacks, and B- Stormravens (yes, really!)

Started with DE in January, picked up a SM contemptor & assault boarding captain at GDUK. DE will be my main force, I can just see 'em being more fun to play with, I'll build up a small SM force but mainly for my mates to try a game with at my place and because I like the miniatures

I collect Space Marines and Eldar. The space marines are currently on vacation, so I have directed most of my attention now days on the Eldar.

I only have guard , space marines, and grey knights......For the emperor!

I marked Space Marines and Other, because I don't JUST play Space Marines, I play Angels Sanguine (Blood Angels).

I played Imperial Guard for 12 years before I made the switch in 2009.

IG and BA, but I guess BA counts as SM

Collect CSM and SM. Wife does Daemons, but gear more for fantasy then future. Dont use them with GW rules however.

Necrons and daemonhutners (I assume you mean grey knights now) are not under rated. They are prety strong armies with a variety of good ways to play them.

Why surprise me that not that space marine are the nr 1?!

I play Imperial Fists because I wanted a small versatile army. These little plastic dudes are super expensive!
I also buy orks because they are hilarious and make for great conversion bits. Muscle marines!

Tau is my main army, Daemons are my orkz. Never know what'll happen when you play Daemons.
