Racism is not dead in America, trust me. I got in trouble at the local sheriff's department for reporting my supervisor which was violating inmate's rights because he was calling them racial names to the point of the inmates had enough to fight and when they did he would use excessive force and then charge them with a felony. I reported it correctly and he got promoted out of the jail and on to the road and I yelled at and all my work looked at for the smallest mistake in order to fire me.

The failed to find anything on my work but I quit because I would not work for a department which did that and so I returned to college for a better job. I fought for this country to defend the freedoms we are all suppose to enjoy but these type of things going on all the time make me sick.

In my local newspaper in the estate auction still advertise in large letters KKK stuff for sale. In the next town north of me burn down any gay bars that open. I hate this state (Missouri) because of it's backward ways and can't wait to move back to upstate New York.

If the pool is run democratically the majority can vote them out. If it is run as a company, the majority can resign their membership en masse and let it go bankrupt, or call an EGM and threaten to sack the management.

I never saw anything of the sort from my hometown in upstate New York. I have no doubt that it does happen up there and everywhere to some extent.

In Overland Park, KS which is a city near Kansas City has an area built in the early 50s to mid 60s called White Haven. Even when I served in the deep south I never saw anything so obvious.

The town where my wife's parents lives still fly the confederate flag above the US flag and the last black family that tried to move, their home was burnt to the ground. The local fire department which was six blocks away did not show up till the fire threatened the neighbors houses. Do I need to say anymore? I hate Missouri.

New York is a pretty decent-sized place. Upstate NY near Buffalo would be at least a 6-hour drive from NYC, maybe more depending on NYC traffic and upstate NY weather / season.

But it's pretty up there, with the trees & farms & so forth.

I am from a small town on the Hudson facing the Catskills Mountains about 20 miles north of West Point. It is quiet, peacefully and very diverse population. It is about half hour from everywhere but a great place to live. And yes we even have a stop light now (installed in 1999).

Stop lights are over rated unless they randomly change

You just find a two word phrase that rhymes with the original phrase and then remove the second word from the new phrase.
