You've got to remember that very few of the SM armies were winning the semi finals, most were getting 2nd & 3rd.

2 lashes, a ton of PM's, and 2-3 units of oblitorators makes a very hard matchup for most armies.

A 60+ wych cult army is pretty hard to deal with, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dark Eldar win it all.

Mostly, yes. I've had three double dual lash match-ups against quality opponents in tournament settings. Minor loss, Massacre, and Major victory.

Which is why I'm really surprised to not see sisters players up there. I took them last year and they were nasty, this year I think they would be even better unfortunately I didn't get a chance to test that theory. I don't think I saw a single sisters army make it, but I don't know if thats because they lost or no one played them.

It was only about 75 sisters on foot. But the 7 immolators, 4 rhino's, and 3 exorcists definitely add up.

Has anyone gotten their prizes from the Regionals yet? I was really hoping to buy Space Hulk with mine but have yet to see anything... after two WEEKS?!

Only 75....um...that's over 300 in infantry alone. And obviously the mech part adds up, but a normal sisters army at any point level is usually about double the cost of any of the other armies, especially if you have to buy alot of special weapon blisters to get the mix of weapons you want.

So I guess I'm saying that the $40 for ten + $10 a blister for special weapons is what really adds up.

don't forget the sisters pack of 10 comes with a sister superior with plasma/evisorator

it is cheaper to purchase the blisters of 3 sisters, convert your sister superior and buy the special weapons seperate. (at least it was, last I checked)
