I'd like to see them modelled off the lithe figure in the rulebook. the current scrawny arms/legs/head and masive torso looks like complete rubbish.

Agreed! The typical warrior figurine for the Dark Eldar is just ridiculously terrible... I think we can all agree that they have a few too many spikes, as well.

The basic Warrior is OK, just don't add the plumes or extra spikes.

What's bad are the basic WFB Dark Elf Warriors. The narrow chests and long skirts scream Wimpy, Wimpy, Wimpy! The WFB5 Metals were much better.

Did the metal models scream "Hefty, Hefty, Hefty!" Go family guy references.

On a slightly more on topic note; it does make GW look kinda bad when they completely abandon a miniature range like they have done with Dark Eldar for the past 10 or so years. I hope for the sake of DE players that they get their new codex within the next year.

mannnnnnnnnn

Dark Eldar are so awesome.
I just read the dakka tactica;
I've only played against your standard raider spam armies.
I didn't even know there were such things as 'webway portals'.

I want one now.

if only there was a way to deepstrike and lay your wwp on the same turn...

DE is indeed awesome.
But it needs a lot of skill to play them.
I particularly played them during the 3rd ed and my army was quite feared in the gaming group.
Now it hits the shelf.
The reason is that there is a player in the group that copies all my army lists. While I win most of the RTTs organized from the group he constantly looses. This guy sucks. He makes elementary mistakes during the game, with DE, Eldar, and whatnot.
