Also, if you are into this type of thing, you can work a nice sweet barbecue sauce into the meat as you are making it into patties.
I have always been one for making my own burger patties, they always taste better, they aren't thin little hockey pucks, and they season so much better.
But as for my favorite meat: Deer

Ain't that the truth. I bought a bunch of pre-formed patties once, because they were on sale. I let 'em thaw, and remade them into excellent patties, worthy of being consumed by myself and friends. Nothing beats hand-made hamburgers.

There's a theory that runs along the lines that the real reason that France hates you isn't because of anything except what you have done to cheese.
I mean.. in a can ? C'mon people get with it !

So much so I can't say what i like best. I should be fat the amount i eat.
The way It's cooked is the most important factor though. Namely, slow-cooked. Unless It's beef, then i prefer it medium-rare/rare.

This is an easy question. Beef...with a filet being my favorite cut, and medium rare the temperature of choice.
Having said that, I wish more people would experience the joy of Korean BBQ. Can't go wrong with kalbi or bulgogi. There's nothing quite like going to a Korean restaurant, grilling ribs right at your table to your liking, then leaving covered and impregnated with the smell of charred meat.
Okay, now I'm hungry.

How about Mongolian BBQ? when I was living in L.A. there was a mongolian BBQ joint I used to have lunch at all the time. You get a big bowl, then walk down the line and add what you want to it, meat, veggies, rice, noodles, then you tell the old guy at the end if you want it mild, medium or hot and he prepares some kinda sauce concotion. then you give your bowl to the samauri looking guy who dumps it out on a giant kettle drum looking bbq grill and he slices it all up with these big swords. It was hella yummy.

Why do they care? I thought *we* invented cheese. I go to the supermarket and all I see is cheese marked "Amurican."
You mean they put something different on their turkey sammiches?

Just looked it up and it looks good, although maybe more of a stir-fry than a true BBQ.

Mongolian BBQ is for the win.
When I worked retail, there was a Mongolian BBQ instead of the typical chinese buffet there. I still miss that place.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

I also like silver piggies and/or silver turtles.
For those who weren't Boy Scouts, let me explain:
Silver Piggies:
1 can Spam, cut into chunks
Brown Sugar to taste
Canned Pineapple
Silver Turtles
Beef Patties
Potatos, thinly sliced
Carrots
Onions
Salt and Pepper to taste
Get a campfire going, and make a bed of hot coals. Take ingredients, wrap them in a double layer of aluminum foil tightly. Place gently in coals. Do camp chore. Remember that you're cooking, flip packet. Do another camp chore. Remove from fire pit with tongs or fire gloves. Enjoy.

Reds8n, the main differences between an Aussie barbeque and an American barbeque is that the Aussie one consists of sausages, steak, sausages, salad, sausages and Beer, and combinations thereof between slices of bread, all the while listening to the cricket on the radio and playing cricket or Aussie Rules footy.
American is just about every meat you can think of, and what most aussies call "P!$$ water" (Beer in america) while doing other stuff which I'm not sure of...

Over here meat is like the internet, serious business.
But honestly, I think a lot of it has to do with the way burgers are considered over here. They aren't everyday things unless they come from McDonald's, BK, etc. Most families/people that I know make them on weekends as a kind of personal/small group ceremony.
