My Dreadnought landed behind my opponent's Rhino full of Chaos Space Marines and blew it up; the explosion killed two of them. My Scout Sniper Squad and it's Heavy Bolter wiped them completely out. My Vindicator was going to fire at his Demon Prince, but then I realized that we had forgotten to roll for nightfight for the Scouts' shooting, so I rolled for it and allowed him to put all the Chaos SM's back in the crater they were in.

Glad you enjoyed it.
Another Necromunda one:
When playing with my terrain I granted a special benefit for winning the battle or accomplishing something of merit in the game. The player got to graffiti a piece of my terrain with a pen. This led to some interesting taunting and established animosity between gangs and even individual characters within a gang. The guy who originally lured me to Necromunda was my regular opponent and had the habit of just butchering me for my first few games. His graffiti was especially nasty. When he killed one of my young braves if left a tag on a building that read “I put down Dog Meat right here” with an arrow point to the location where if capped my guy while he was clutching a gut shot wound.
My shaman had the power of curse dance. What that meant was if my shaman spent his whole turn dancing around instead of doing anything else my opponent would automatically lose all the initiative tests that he would take that turn. I originally didn’t see the point of such an ability and reasoned that my shaman would be better utilized in the direct conflict. But in later games I saw the upside to such talent. Whenever a model was hit with a ballistic weapon they were pinned and could recover if they had a buddy next to them. If the model was pinned within an inch of an edge to a building or other elevated position they had to pass initiative test or fall off it.
The next game my shaman sat behind my gang and danced away. My opponents guys where placed along building and catwalks and every time I hit one of his guys with a musket round he would plummet to the ground - I had a bunch of his guys crawling around the floor level down with serous injuries while I continued to pump ammo at them.
The next time I played the guy he seemed eager to face my ratskins again. He apparently had a foolproof method of defeating me and my dancing shaman. His gang went out and all purchased support cables that he used to hook his gangers to the building. The way the rope work is that instead of falling you just hung off the side until you passed a strength test and pulled yourself up.
I gun each of them off their perch but instead of falling they just swung around on their wire. So his army is swinging around while the rest of my army save my shaman and Dog Meat II plug gunfire into the piñatas. Most of his guys were downed at this time so they just hung there bleeding while I continued to gain experience for each wound I inflicted on them. Dog Meat II instead of joining in with the other guys was sprinting over to their building to avenge Dog Meat I. He ran to each anchor point and cut the wire sending the hanging meat bags to their demise. My graffiti at the bottom level was something along the lines of, “Today at this location the carrion eaters feasted like never before”. Nothing is sweeter then than avenging a fallen comrade - I really miss Necromunda, one of these days I will try to get a bunch of people playing again. But paying 25 dollars for a gang is such a huge price commitment to request from a wargamer.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

We used to have this horrible Pressganger in the area and he only did the job for free stuff. He would regularly take the most broken list and beat people down regardless of their play level.
I would regularly see him 1st or 2nd turn kills on kids during demo games, the worst was when this kid came in with only 3 models, the only ones he could afford, painted to a very high table top standard with realistic weathering and everything and kill before he could even do anything.
Needless to say any kill on this guy is satisfying...
So play testing the MK II play test rules Terminous(HIM) vs Reznik(me)
he runs Terminous up next to a full squad of Mechanic Thralls since that was the uber cheese on the Privateer boards at the time and uses up all his focus and declares it my turn. I look at him and say "okay now I kill you" he can't believe it and says that "I can't shoot him down" and I aggree.
I activate my arc node and move him up into range, activate Reznik and use Brand of Heresy through the arc node onto Termnious, I then activate my Reckoner heavy warjack with full focus and charge Terminous. Needless to say thanks to the autoboosting attack and damage rolls Terminous was just undead paste after 2 hits.
He then whined about how rude I was since this was supposed to be a learning game for MK II, nevermind the fact that this was just a trick from MK I.
Second favorite is against the same guy.
He tried to charge his Angelius next to eSeverius over this giant rock in the middle of the field. I calmly tell him that would be an illegal move since Eyeless sight doesn't ignore obstacles, he gets mad checks his card and aggress he cannot do this but since eSevy is all by himself he says he'll just run it up next to him instead and kill me next turn.
I activate eSevy and explain his special rule where he gets +1 strength for every fury on the model he attacks so now I'm up to Pow 14. I then cast his spell which gives him boosted attack and damage rolls. I proceed to 1 time his stupid beast by rolling only sixes.
He actually almost cried since its his best/favorite painted model.
Killing TFG FTW!

Thanks,
Here are three more Necromunda kills. They don’t really fit the actually fit the spirit of the thread as I feel rather bad about them. My observing friends, however, really enjoyed mocking the player whose character was just butchered in an undignified manner.
First) I had a multiplayer game at my house and people were encouraged to bring their own terrain so we could put together a large piece of the city to have our battle. One of the guys brought a large vat of acid that was about one inch of the ground in height be but gave the impression of dept. The rules he wanted to use for it was that any model that fell in was automatically killed with no injury roll and all their equipment was lost. I felt this was a little harsh and suggested that it be downgraded but I was veto by the others who like the absolutism of the outcome.
The vat was placed on the board and a player put a catwalk connecting two buildings that was directly over the vat. During the game the guy who brought the vat had an experienced ganger who he was particularly proud of, he had skills in combat and movement and was able to travel 12 inches across the catwalk clearing the vat so he was not a risk of falling into it if knocked off the catwalk under typical means, and venturing to an unprotected flank of another player’s gang.
The ganger made the mistake of exposing himself to my Speargun Scaly who hit the ganger and due to the special rules of the firearm I mentioned previously, carried the poor character into the vat.
Second) While playing my ratskins I played out a shootout mission with a delaque player. The mission called for one selected character from each team to slowly approach each other with pistols holstered. When one guy makes a move both test against each other using their initiative. This mission was far from favorably to the ratskins as I only had one model with a pistol, a BS 2 brave in a loin clothe.
He picked an experienced ganger with shooting skills and I picked the only suitable candidate. The youth had one secret, major thing going for him. He had stumbled upon an ancient piece of technology that used the rules of a meltagun, but took the form of a pistol.
My opponent is rather entertained by setup and expects to waste my young savage with proven ease. My juve’s nerves breaks and they both go for their guns he fires two shots with his bolt pistol(skill) and my juve hits with his one shot. My guy lucks out with a flesh wound. My opponent laugh off the one hit because his ganger has two wounds and flak armor. His jaw drops when he is informed that my ratskin had a super advance energy weapon that vaporized his character. It was like David verse Goliath, but instead of a stone and sling, David had a RPG.
Third) My ratskins hired a special character named Mad Donna. She has this special rule that if she takes a character out in hand to hand combat that she would tear them to pieces by repeatedly lashing out at the prone model. Every hit that wounds would require the player to make an injury roll that was immediately applied it to the model. During my first game with her she dropped a ganger and then began brutalizing the guy for the rest of the game. She crippled limbs, gouge out eyes, cut off ears, punctured his chest cavity, and amputated limbs. The worst part was making the player roll out all his injuries until he eventually rolled a killed result. After that game Mad Donna was banned from game play in my circle, and I ended up converting the model to be a leader to my slannesh cultists.
All three encounters took place in multiple games or with audiences. In every case there was someone(s) there to salt the wounds. “Ha ha, your favorite character just got killed sucks to be you”.

In recent memory, a single Kroot.
Let me explain.
It was a carnage game - I was playing Marines, there was another Marine army, a Tau army, and an Eldar army. I was on the bottom left-hand corner. To my right, the other Marine, ahead of me, the Tau, and in the opposite corner were the Eldar.
I decided that my goal for the mission was not to complete the objective, but to kill as many Tau as I could before the game ended. Tau went first and for some reason moved towards me, giving me first turn charges. My first act of the game was my Emperor's Champion challenging the enemy Shaper in combat. The Predictably the Emp's Chump squished the Shaper, and the Kroot ran for the hills.
The Kroot never regrouped, and spent the rest of the game running, getting shot, until there was a single Kroot left. The last act of the game was my Emperor's Champion finally catching that last Kroot 5 turns later and cutting him down.
With that the Tau only had 5 models left, most of them killed by me.

Playing Catachan Deathworld Vets codex way back in the day with demo charges and all the fun ambush rules and booby traps.......some auto cannons as the only real fire power. at the time the Assassins had a stand-alone codex so I added Eversor......he killed 5 Devastators, a Land Raider and 5 Terminators......all of then in CC!!! Not bad for one man and 95 points, he was then in the open and got gunned down by massed Bolter fire....

My four Plague Marines were holding an objective, when a squad of Ork Boyz came within charge range. I thought, "Why not?" and charged them. I killed their nob who had a power claw, and next turn I finished them off. With Plague Marines.
But my favorite has to be when my Drednaught rolled a for crazed, and shot himself in the face with a plamsa cannon due to scatter. He exploded. My opponent and I laughed for 20 minutes straight.

My Scout Squad was the only thing left against a Broodlord and some Gaunts. Broody was really close to me, so I did the only thing left...
All my Scouts opened fire witht heir shotties, then charged. The Shotguns caused TWO WOUNDS, and then 4 scouts died to the Broodlord. My Sarge looked the scaly beast in the eyes, and then proceeded to bash its head into a pulp with his shotty. He then proceeded to kill all the rest of the Gaunts and win the game for me.

My most satisfying kill was... well a series of them. My ironclad dreadnought podded in behind an IG gunline complete with two LRBT's and a big blob squad of 30 guardsmen holding my opponent's home objective. Turn one: after landing right on top of the big squad and firing the two heavy flamers there are no guardsmen left on the objective. Turn two: Ironclad proceeds to run after a LRBT and smash it to bits with his siesmic hammer. Turn Three: Ironclad charges towards the IG command squad fires the flamers and charges slaughtering them all. This was the first game I had used my ironclad in and I have never gone a game without it since. Pure ownage.

Maybe not satisfying, but most memorable...
Back in 4e, I had a unit of bloodletters charge into a unit of Tau Crisis suits and annihilate them to a man. Then, they consolidated into a firewarrior unit and, next turn, annihilated them. Unfortunately, they were whittled down to only 1 remaining bloodletter.
When I got home, that bloodletter ended up gatting a base decoration. A Tau head painted in my buddy's black & red color scheme on a pole/spear sticking out of his base.
You see, once he was all on his own, he proceeded to walk through 2 more Firewarrior units & another crisis suit unit by himself, winning combat & making them run off of the table (or catching them and eating the rest of the unit). IIRC, he beat the Crisis suits and ate them all because, while they did no wounds to him, he ate a shield drone.
He lasted until the end of the game as the sole remaining member of his unit and Khorne only knows how many kills under his belt.

and today in an APOC game, my FW GUO was catching fire from about 8000 points of guard/SM, he was at 7 wounds and looking pretty grim. then my opponent comes in with a decked out inquisitor lord with all the demon killing equipment, grimoir of true names, anoited weapon, etc, totally wiffs his attacks and Fatty eats him, i found that enjoyable.

One of my tactical squads was stuck in hand to hand with a killa kan, and it was tearing it's way through my Marines. The sergeant's powerfist whiffed it 3 rounds in a row, when the corporal stepped up and shoved a krak grenade up it's tailpipe, destroying the vehicle and saving the squad. He and the sergeant survived, and as a reward for his service, I painted an Orky looking explosion on the corporal's kneepad. Since then he's fought in tons of battles, almost always the last man to die in his unit. Whenever the sergeant whiffs his powerfist (distressingly often) the corporal manages to do the job. He killed a Tau battlesuit commander, and his killcount continues to grow.

Fantasy a while back now.
My old Druchii (think the second army, on third now) v's my mates Dwarves in a 2000-2500pt battle? (can't remember exactly, but we both had lords and plenty of troops.)
He had a huge unit with 20 Ironbreakers, General, Standbearer and a Runesmith in it. Looking like they will be a major hassle to deal with so I'd been trying to avoid it.
My Witch Elves the turn previously had finally wiped out a small unit of Trollslayers but had lost their Frenzy in the process in the first round.
He charges them, forgetting I'd lost the frenzy and I flee, he still curses me for using such an underhand tactic, but hey I was playing Druchii.
Then my turn comes and its a pretty much perfect set up for me as Executioners head in the front, 8 Cold Ones in the side inc Lord, Chariot in the other side and a Manticore with Beastmaster in the rear.
One messy CC later, Dwarves flee and splat.
That was pretty nice, and is the best moment I can remember. It still comes up in chats, years later.
edit - oh and if you was wondering why he tried to charge them, he was hoping to drop them in a round (think there was only 7 or 8 left) and charge into the Executoners on the overun, and if I'm remembering the charge angles would have stopped the Cold Ones being able to charge, and would have place terrain between the unit and the chariot. (I admit it was a bold move, but it turned into a lovely move for me. )

Dropping three Manticore missiles on a Chimera was fun. I killed it! I kind of wish I had shot it at a juicier target...

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

My cc fex taking out Mephiston。 I was using it as a distraction whilst my tyrant finished off a vindicator and rhino。As expected Mephiston gets a wound on my fex, but fails his psychic test to instant kill it。 With my return attacks I squash him。 Very satisfying。
