Fell Bats:

Well, I finally got my Wampyr "Counts as Fell-bats", and they are huge! Okay maybe not huge, but larger than I thought. The models come in three basic body types and at least two different pairs of wings. The wings are glue on so the models have a bit of random variation, but altering the poses should help and a bit more variety. The paint jobs is pretty heavy handed, especially the wash to the face and torso.

Here's a a couple of pictures to show how the scale:

And just to give you and idea of how cool they'll look screening my Blood Knights:

Dire Wraiths & Tomb Banshee:

I was originally going to use this mini as necromancer, but she works better as a Banshee. You just can't have to many cute undead chicks!

While, were at it here is my new dedicate Vampire Counts Army display case:

I hope to get some pictures up of the dragon by this weekend.

More later!

Those GZ knights are fantastic - ever since I first saw them in this thread when you first posted them I have wanted lots of them (even thought I would never use them ).

Every time I see them I am like "Woo!"

The fell bats look amazing - good find

I love the zombies and wraiths in this army. Almost makes me want to start Vampire Counts. Or at least something 40k involving the models. How do the army of the dead minis compare to Guardsmen

Um...Dragon!

Now I'm off to go gut and dremel the hell out of it.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I'm going to mount the dragon a crumbling castle tower. I need to look at some reference pics, but I will probably scratch-build it out of ages sculptures and then cast the tower in resin. How big is the base for a dragon model?
