It just amazes me how much you come to know and appreciate a user name as a personality, even though you never know, or really even wonder about, who they really are and what their real name is. And somehow when the news comes like this, it really strikes you that there was a person with loved ones and a real life behind the avatar.

That's a damn shame. In all of Games Workshop rumordom, I can't think of a better-known poster.
There is something romantic about taking the identities of his sources to the grave, albeit unintentionally.
