3 Kans for £27?! Pricewise that sounds pretty good, what was the metal one £12? £15?

Here's hoping weapon options and gubbins galore!

The metal ones left the website at £13.50 each, a moment of fear reminds me that 2 x 13.50 is 27...

You had to ruin it for me!
I was almost beginning to get quite positive about GW's pricing

Well, remember the OLD price was for metal and the new kit is plastic, so you can't convert directly. 3 warbikes is ~$41 USD, so 3 kans for $45 USD is not entirely unprecedented. Plus, GW *usually* gives you squadrons that are a factor of the maximum squad size, such as 3 warbikes (against 12 max size), 5 burnas (15 max), etc. I'm hoping it's three, but I'm happy regardless.

I'm with you, but I can't help but feel that's what GW is counting on too, so it'll be 2 Kans in the box...

Is it possible to build a completly mechanised ork force?

Just Kans, Dredds, Trukks and The bigger vehicles?

If you take 2 Big Meks as your HQ it is. Then Deff Dreads can be Troop choices.

Somewhat but not really on-topic; I don't suppose there's been any talk of plastic meganobz?

Man, if Killa Kanz are coming in plastic, my wife will be rolling her eyes that month when I drop the cash on them.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

That... would also be as tasty as the walkers. Most likely a box of 3?

Whoops, sorry dude, I just couldn't help but notice the maths!

Yeah I'm sure it will be 3 simply because kans are nearly always fielded in 3's, certainly in battle reports and the pictures in the codex. Plus 2 is an odd number for any squad.

I saw someone say the same thing on Warseer and it confuses me. Why would MANZ come in a box of 3? They are essentially the Ork's answer to terminators so I'd expect any plastic MANZ release to hit the shelves with the same price and formatting as a box of plastic termies. That way two boxes would make a fulls quad, which would be fine by me.

5 MANZ to a plastic box set would be the way to go. Sadly, I doubt we will see them any time soon. The metal ones look good, but... they're METAL. And expensive.

I hope the kans are 3/box, as I said before. But even if it's just 2, I'll get my three units for a list.

To answer a previous question that was answered, you can run an all mekanized ork list, but if you only have dreads as troops, you can never claim objectives, so you're already screwed in 2/3 of the missions. For fun games or when you know it's annihilation, sure.

I'd be more likely to bet that the higher price point is for the squadron of kanz (the old 3 walker box sets used to be priced around $50). I'm stoked now though. Might have to build my horde army after all.
