I regret buying about $300 of used (but still on sprue) Nids. I just don't see myself getting that many models painted.

Check out my blog for bat reps and pics of my Ultramarine Honorguard (Counts as GK) Army!

If you're clever about it, you should be able to get most of that back from ebay if you really don't intend to use them. If there was ever a time to shift spare Nids, it's now!

My first regret is my kroot mercs. Tried to hard to make them look cool and they still ended up looking stupid. Then they did away with the rules.

And my warhound titan. I just never had the drive to put it together once I actually got it... and even then I doubt Id ever paint it, let alone use it in a game.

That was a special moment... especially when i've been painting ultramarines the last five years...so i literally have been making silver pants blue. *sighs*

Hmmm... Good to know...

*Makes mental note never to watch that film in the presence of anyone who knows him*

I dont really have a lot of buyers remorse to be honest... Sellers remorse on the other hand...

Every now and then I've torn my bits box apart looking for the "perfect" bit of metal/plastic for a conversion only to realise I traded/sold/gave it to someone... And I try not to think about some of the abandoned projects I've sold over the years that I've now got the time/money for...

Yeah, my wife and I were watching it in the theater when that line came up. She just gave me a patronizing little pat on the shoulder. Add to that the fact that when she and I had met years before, my main mode of transportation was my bike, much like Carell's was in the movie. Anyway...

What fills me with the most shame is that I keep trying to build a Crimson Fist army, and I keep failing. I tried with Rogue Trader. I tried when 3rd Ed. came out. I tried when 4th Ed. came out. I've again tried recently. Every single damn time - I buy all the models I need for the army. Maybe I even paint up a couple test minis. Then when I'm halfway to 3/4 through the build process, something new comes out and I'm all, "Ooh! New Blood Angels! Shiny! And I can use all these Rhinos, Dreadnoughts, and Land Speeders I've bought for my Crimson Fists for them!" The part of the curse that keeps me going, that keeps me returning to the Crimson Fists every single time? I've got a Crimson Fist patch - produced by GW back in RT days. It sits in my dice bag and mocks me for never finishing my army. But I can't seem to get rid of the patch either as it's got sentimental value to me of reminding me of the glory days of Rogue Trader...

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I know that feeling... I've been planning on doing another Blood Angels army (they were my first ever army back when I started playing instead of just painting back in the very first days of 2nd edition/end of RT - I was just learning to paint and sentimentality has prevented me from repainting them... Every new edition of 40K/Codex BA I get all enthused and start another few models and then get distracted again...

Eventually I'll have enough figures for a game... probably some time around 10th edition...

Anyone want to bet on the odds the GW fluff'll have killed them off or given them all black armour by then?...

while i love the models and the fluff behind them, and i think i did a decent job painting them. Grey Knights in power armor. the mold(s) sucks. and the arm joins NEED to be pinned in order for any hope of them staying together.
