I think the reason my orks look so diffrent from lots of others is becuase my Ork skin is darker, and so the rest of my colors look, darker.... maybe?

Update on "Da Red Boyz"
last night, i played 2 games at my LGS. First one was against DA BA, anniliation Killpoints... I wiped him of the table...
Second game i got invited to by the same BA player, it was a 2v2. BA and DK vs Orks and Orks. My team mate ran a dred/kan list (very fun to play with my trukks BTW). It wwas Table quaters, and 1 objective per team. By the 4th turn, the grey knights were wiped from the table. and the blood angles were next in line! Sadly i had to leave on the fourth turn, so i never saw the outcome, but when i left, we were contesting our objective, and my boyz were holding his!
Overall it was a very fun night!

Ello Folks
Okay, so, in a trade a few days ago, i got 3 deff koptas (finally!) 14 boyz, 5 nobz, and a warboss, so far, i have only painted up 1 of the koptas, and here it is!






Yup... mah first painted deff kotpas... i forgot how much i hate to paint vechials, and big stuff.....

So ya... thoughts? comments?

looks good. I'd add some battle damage and paint the gloves a different color so they dont blend with the metal bitz. Might look different in real life but I'm liking it.

Hehe, that was the weird part, in RL the gloves are graveyard yearth, with devlin mud wash, and bone highlight, but in these pictures, they turned out the same color as the metal

and just as a last thing the metal looks a little shiny, dunno if its your pics but dirtying it up a little bit with dust and dirt would look cool.

the red looks a little flat and boring. add some contrasting colours in there or higlight or blend

Hehe, i got these guyz in a trade, and they did not come with flying bases... so these were all i had in my Bitz box...
And as for the metal, the pics make it look like new But it has been washed, although i was thinkin about givin it a brown ink wash (yes, i still have a pot of GW brown ink! it almost gone though )

And as for the red looking boreing and flat... I have never been able to get my red to stand out very well.... and the primer that these guyz came with was a sand red, so that didn't help it stand out either...
