QFT! Wasn't it the BOLS team that had them painted exceptionally well?

There seems to be a serious case of LOLcat-ism going on amongst the various Thunderwolves out there.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I received my TW. Aside from the amount of excess resin, these models are fantastic. Great idea especially to provide legs. Well worth the money.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby. |

I got 5 of these beauties last week and am finally getting to put them together. I'll post some pics later, but so far they are amazing!
For those interested, they need a bit of green stuff work on the seams but other than that and making them more space wolfy, don't need a lot of work.
2 of the wolves come with clear "flight" sticks, but I ended up pinning them for a more dramatic effect.
Oh and they are bigger than Canis, which makes me cry a bit inside.
First post : p Had to post for my Thunderwolves!

Just ordered mine, but a thought occurs to me. What size base do we put these on? They almost seem to be able to fit on a biker base - is there a standard for these models (ie: Canis = 60 mm). I ask because I want to start on the bases while these ship - if they are 60 mm I have to go buy some bases.

Actually, they come with 65 mm, which is bigger. I like to stick with what GW puts out for sizes.

Actually they ARE 60mm bases. On his site he says 65mm, so I ordered some nice resin ones that are 60mm. They both ended up being the same size. I think it's just a mistype on his part.
The question now is what to do with my older Thunderwolves that I had done which are done on 40mm bases using some horde models.
I'm thinking about using them also within my Thunderwolf packs as there is no rule against using different sized bases for the same units as I have seen.
Kinda like using old terminators with the small bases with the newer ones with 40mm?
