Oddly enuff you know how I deal with Vindicators? .... Dreadnoughts in drop pods

Good man! Unless he uses no power klaws in his army for whatever reason... Hidden klaws kill dreadnoughts.

If you want to kill a lot of infantry at once, low armor, high body count. I would probably throw heavy bolters at them, predators have two, razorbacks have some, i hear devastator squads can take a lot more.

If you play an ork dude and he sees you have any big template weapons hes gonna spread his guys waaaay out, so even when you do hit the unit, you kill 4 or 5 guys.

also, an ironclad dreadnought can bring hurricane bolters for one of its arms. I dont know the pts cost or stats on the weapon, but with a name like HURRICANE bolter it sounds like a lot of dakka.

Also, if he spreads out, he will most likely have to be making quite a few difficult terrain tests over the course of the game.

How do you shield the sides of those Vindis? Terrain? Rhinos w/ squads? Empty Rhinos?

Not much can save them from a turbo-boosting DeffCopta except being deployed way back on the first turn, and then coming up to dish it out on turn 2.

I love the tank (I got 3 old ones I am sprucing up) how do I drive 'em?

In a perfect world, I usually have my land raider in the center, flanked by two vindicators on one side, and one vindicator on the other.

The double vindicators are sandwiched by a combat squad in a rhino, and a tactical squad in a rhino.

The single vindicator is covered by a third rhino.

I usually deploy the vindicators a hair back to completely block line of sight to the sides, and giving me a 3+ cover if he shoots from alot of angles...
