Oh, I'm on an assembly spree right now! In addition to all the stuff listed above I've managed to assemble a Hive Tyrant, a Tyrant Guard, and a Hive guard! No signs of stopping either! Well until lunch gets here HAHA!

What about painting? Omg,it'll take sooo long for you to paint all this stuff...

I got a metal Zoey finished before lunch got here. I'll be getting back to the building in about an hour or so I think.

@ Samus_aran115- Painting is going to be rough to say the least but I think I'll be able to get most everything done before the deadline. Maybe not the real detail work but the primary layers.

Awesome. It would be a shame not to see so many awesome models painted. I forgot you use spray paint,so it takes no time at all to do the rest! (I guess things like faces and those "fleshy parts" under the arm will be the only things to do!)

Well I will still need to do the carapace on all of them and there is a TON of detail to do.

Do you glue your gaunts before painting them?

The ones I got in trade are glued, but the ones I do will not be glued when I paint.

yeah to be honest i would primer and basegoat via spraygun your nigs before assembly.... save so much time.

Yeah, that's how I do it.

I just found like 11 guants (roughly 3 of them with legs unattached). I'm painting those first, then moving on to genestealers,then the two warriors I have lying around without arms.

Then hopefully I'll buy a hive Tyrant already. Man that's an awesome model. Not looking forward to buying the Tyrant Guard I want though...20$ is kind of steep.Maybe I'll convert those out of some terminators,haha. Just throw some chitin on them, give em a tail and some scything talons, BOOM, tyrant guard!

Haha, not sure how thats going to work! I'm not a big fan of the $20 tag either... Maybe I'll find a way to make one like I did with the Zoeys.

Like 12 dollars sounds better..Or just make them a plastic Kit.

I'm pretty sure that I am not going to get this project done in the 17 day limit I have... I cant seem to get time to prime and paint and thats a problem.

I haven't completely given up yet but It's tough to find time to do with 3 kids and 2 jobs... I'll try to get as much done as I can. I still need to finalize my 1500 point list.

p.s don't loose hope, just speed paint the buggers!

The army list is pretty important. That way,you can prioritize what you have to paint. 1500 points is easier than everything!

It needs to be 1500 pts of planetstrike fury! Any suggestions?
