Going to have to get me a full set, like the good little junky that I am. Ah well! At least I'm back in full time work!
They do look like some kind of brass... the design is so fine detailed... Cant wait for preordering those.

For 6.50 € expect the details printed on a clear plastic, cheaper and more robust. A more expensive brass template would hurt people and be misformed soon. BTW you even see the rim of the clear plastic flame template.

Your probably right but I keep looking at these pics and look at the color and shape and all gives the illusion of etched brass stuff...
Great looking stuff nevertheless, I cant wait for better pics of these.

We would guess so, for maneuvers and such. I just hope GW doesn't make it standard equipment you should always have like templates.

Someone over at Warseer got first prices of the sets:

1) Just the book no gimmicks (€60).
2) "Gamers Edition"; the book with some counters, a tape measure, templates and I suppose all the items found in the picture all bundled inside a nice little rucksack. (€97,50)
3) "Collectors Edition"; leatherbound book with metal edges and parchment paper. (€97,50)
Not sure about the TAPE measure and the rucksack though, maybe just speculation.
