How do the new frenzy rules work???
I've been told that frenzy is controllable, but I don't get it.
If it's the case that it is controllable to an extent that I can have an all frenzy army and have it not chase after the nearest opposing squirrel, I might actually do an all frenzy army.
Btw, I played against Brets with Ogres and to add evidence to the question do brets suck in 8th??? Oh yes they do. I didn't lose a single unit. A couple of ogres here and there, but nothing major.
And to add more info to if Ogres are good in 8th??? Well I'd start buying the batallion before they hike the price up or a new one comes out.

Dwarfs become much better due to the fact that they can now effectively intercept/charge units that are trying to hunt their Warmachines and Missile troops.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about wood elves in 8th. Might give them a look over.
Dwarves do seem to have declined over the past 3 years so I'm glad that 8th edtions seems to have given them a boost.

Savage Orcs. You're only Core & Characters, but all rare and everyone has a Ward Save. Only $450 for a 800pt list too

I would delay making any serious army selections until AFTER the pdfs come out (next week I think). My guess is that the majority of army books will have their magic items and spells completely revamped (good chance Infernal Puppet and Cupped Hands will get changed) as well as bringing some of the army special rules in line with the new BRB.

Why would you think cupped hands or infernal puppet would get changed. Their functionality remains the same in the new edition, which is to protect the caster in the event of a miscast.

Not to mention Ultra accurate cannons now. You can pretty much gaurantee that you're stegs and carnos are going to take cannonballs to the face.

seriously, maybe just because I LOVE THEM WITH ALL MY FAT HEART but ogres have some possibilities to RUIN face again. 50+ attacks from a unit of 18 iron guts with double handed weapons + impact hits + stomp attacks. yeah, go on attack back.

You can't have 18 ironguts in a unit.
Do you mean 16 + 2 characters???

And that would be pretty much your only unit on the table at iirc, over 1000 points...

Depending on what the pdf's say i think tomb kings are being under valued.
no wizards to self destruct, an item that removes all RiP at once automatically.
missle troops that hit on a 5+ regardless of modifiers so they are the same as BS4 troops more or less ( assuming -1 for range and -1 for cover on most shots)
casket of souls got much improved as it hits all units in LoS.

Tomb Kings IMO will be the first new army book for 8th. They have so much ATM that just doesn't work well enough.
