Unless you are doing emperors children they were the only ones allowed to use the imperial eagle.

I will be getting some of these, my UM are due a revamp and shoulder pads and helmets will be top of my list of things to change. Love those PH UM helmets, cannot wait

Im trying to please a wide range of tastes here (not to mention my own) so hopefully something nice can be found amongst them.

On demand some spartan themed helmets. Did them armoured all through, dont want bare faces looking behind the masks, gives a more sci fi look to them. They are still a bit rough (WIP) though.

Hope you like them and as said, I can re-sculpt things if you demand it enough.

Not too big a fan of the pre-heresy stuff there. They do look too much like Star Wars droids than space marines. Might be interesting for early Tau due to the flowing shape.

The Spartan helmets are beyond amazing though. Better than anything I have seen on the market so far.

I also collect Space Wolves and cast my vote for some Jackal (Coyote) derivatives. Maybe try to sculpt various styles reflecting general canine features .... howl, snarl, growl, stare ?

While much of these helms don't fit my army, I must say that I am impressed and appreciate the creative vision. I think trying to categorize them all as "pre-heresy" is posing the problem. Can you separate them into two categories ... "Spartan" and "Mechanicus" ?

I would rather seem them flattened out a little, to fill the socket and look more like lenses. The problem with them at the moment is just that the lenses are too bulbous.

Although the bigger problem with the first few helmets is that either the eyes are too high up or the heads are too short... hard to tell which from the angle of the pics.

3: Should there be "tear canals" on some/all and if so just some simple things?

I'm not personally a fan of the 'tear canals'... it's an interesting style, but would be more suited to Tau or Eldar. Would loom more 'Marine' without them.

4: Should I remove the nose or remake the nose in the first spartan helmet?

The Spartan helms are great as is.

Love the Spartan helms! Especially the "middle" one. The eye detail pushes it very close to a pre-heresy style Thousand Sons helmet. Which is, of course, pure win!

Any idea when they might get released? (and, of course, my apologies if I missed a reference to that in the thread, I was distracted by the pretty pictures!)

Just removed. The helmet looks awesome otherwise. I'm generally not into the Sparta aesthetic but I would buy these helms.

Any idea when they might get released?

I need to get well and out of bed first, then gather the suggestions, decide on changes, resculpt things, post resculpted results for judgement and if ok its 2 weeks from there till they are cast up.
