I had a Segerant that I nicknamed Mr. Awesome. As he went into combat with a warhound titan he hit with his power fist ROARED and it came down and went apocalyptic killing everyone EXCEPT HIM. I will put a picture of him. I miss 4th ed rules :*(. Then in 5th ed he went into combat with a warlord titan lol. He killed it. and it didn't go boom :O.


I also had a Captain (Whos now a chapter Master.)
Called Calnor Alrnia Mawe. for the purposes of the Game. He was a Librarian Captain. And players allowed it. So basically my Librarian Captain charged in his terminator armor. Wielding a legion Relic agianst a Warlord Titan with full everything. In one turn. He blew it up with relic. Next turn he charged Angron. He killed Angron in one turn. Next turn he charges a Baneblade. He Destories it. Nothing explodes. Next turn he charges again into Marneus Calgar. He Killed Marneus and 3 of his Honor Guards. God bless my man. He took out 2500 points. In a 90,000 point game. :O. Hence Why i made him a character. He is the most uber character i have ever seen before.

My friend has a black templar dread that he built but hasn't fielded yet. We have used him a few times as an objective though (retrieving a fallen brother/tech) so (since that is all he has done... be dead) I have nicknamed him Brother Sucules (pronounce it like Hercules) and it has stuck.

A player at my FLGS refers to Belial as Billy, I enjoy that.

Aside from the generic names, I like to name my Nobz after band members.
So in the Boss' bodyguard, we have Keith Moon, Robert Plant, Slash the Painboy, Hendrix the banner bearer, Keith Richards and Ringo (always the one who gets the micky taken out of him)

My Stealthsuit Team leader is nicknamed 'Bunny' because he has two antennae on his head, like rabbit ears.
