IIRC there were also fragments of the Emperor's Armor in relics known as Praesidium Protectiva, utilized by the Sisters.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Some Repentor character from my LGS writer. He said his character took it because the emperor told him too. I found it hersey.

Just read the SM 'dex. Each crux is only "reputed" to have a fragment of big E's armour. So yes, it looks like only Captains definitely have the fragment. I'm guessing a few random other crux's probably do to, though.

it's suppose to rare but it isnt...I mean i just started reading the ultramarine omnibus and a normal battle brother thats rather large had his power Armour stitched together from a old torn up piece of terminator Armour

probably because of the terminator armour is beyond state of repair? maybe only the spauldrons ? i mean at least this is more pragmatic than scrapping it?

Deep in your mind

When he battled Horus, him and his armor got so messed up that now he`s the "president on the porta-potty" and his armor got chopped up and put into the crux that the terminator captains wear on their shoulders.
