I haven't tried 2000pt for quite a long time now, but I know that if I want to expend, its more dragons and avengers. Is it a good idea?
If its not, what should I put in for 2k?

For 2K, 2 squads of 5 Fire Dragons is all you really need. You'll need another troop choice, my top picks are DA in WS, or 10 Storm Guardians with 2 Flamers accompanied by a Warlock with Destructor.
Mainly, I'd recommend pimping out your HQ unit. Either make it Eldrad, or go with the massive Farseer+9 Warlocks on Jetbikes combo.

Hmmm...that might work for me, but not 10 bikers.
Probably 10 more dire avengers in serpent and a 5 man seer council

5 Man is too small. The council is a great unit, but no means required. If you don't want to go with a super expensive (and awesome) HQ, just don't take it. But, whatever you do don't take a half-assed squad. The unit only works well at 7+ Warlocks or zero Warlocks.

Then I won't take them,
I feel that the third unit of fire dragons is neccessary, nowadays land raiders are everywhere, vindicators, defilers, even dreadnoughts are everywhere too.And even worse, MCs.

Vindicators, Defilers, and Dreadnoughts can all be out-ranged with EML/BL shots and Fire Prisms. 3 FD squads is overkill at any point level.

Well if its over kill in your opinion, I assume the points can be spent wisely on something else, or else it would not be a bad idea to invest in such a powerful unit. What is it?

Exactly what I said above. In my opinion, longer range weaponry and more vehicles make up for lack of dragons. At higher points, more vehicles and number of shots/range of shots can fill out the list.
Vypers can help fill out the list while providing more medium range (recommend Scatterlaser or Scatter/Shuricannon). Warp Spiders can use their mobility to harass the enemy instead of range. Wave serpents with troops that will only shoot if things get close (Storm Guards/some DA squads) can upgrade to EML or BL if they aren't. I also recommend more units/serpents over large expensive seer councils and the like.
At every point level, you should increase the number of threats on the board, not just add points to current units, but in some cases you will have to do both. Also, at higher and higher points the threat of a first turn alpha strike is more and more likely from Guard and SW type lists. Incorporating an Autarch can help when you have to full reserve as some people on this forum have experience doing.
Your threats at each point level will slightly change based on the fact that it becomes easier to abuse the force organizational chart and spam entries. At 2,000-2,500 pts, you could perhaps face 3+ Land Raiders, but you don't need to throw 200pts of dragon/serpent at every one of them to drop them. You can just use Bright Lances and shove dragons in where necessary. That's really my point.

I see I see...
You are probably right, I will take more wave serpents, preferably 2 more at 2000pt just for that 2 TL bright lances, and then another autarch(if I dont have one at 1500pt) or some rangers

TBH i preffer EML > Scatter lasers, alot of bang for your buck, also IMO your missing anything that can hold its own against veteran power armour, banshees wouldnt go amiss, Personally 10 FD is OTT and with Eldar you put all your eggs into the same basket your asking for a quick defeat if you come up against a unit you need to splatter with power weapons.

Against power armour you can just take bladestorm, its effective enough.

Change in plans!
I will put in some banshees for 2000pt, they are way too awesome to be ignored.

I play against Eldar often, not a hundred times, but often. The units he has that never let him down. Banshees.
Dire Avengers hold their own on occasions, he always gets pissed at his Guardians, Scorpions still haven't erned their points, The Wave Serpents are good for moving the Banshees up, and Fortune and Doom are no joke.
So Banshees with a Farseer or within range is pretty damn awesome as far as I can tell. Eldrad is also friggin annoying to play against.

“Well, what do you carry the gun for if you’re just going to waste bullets?” Timer reloads his Boomer as Forling fires his Shrapper.
“I may ‘ne be a good shot Timer, but I don’t miss much from this close up with my hammer,” Forling continues to fire.
“All the enemies are good and far away so what the hell does that…” Timer looks up to see Forling giving him an angry stare. “Oh, yea, ok, um, good shooting.”
