I'm not trying to be rude, but your wording passed it off as a canon chapter, which isn't as helpful in a fluff discussion, but i do like the idea.

There are plenty of examples of Renegades choosing to return to the Emperors light many of them feel that instead of excecution, death in battle is a better atonement. Examples include some members of the Astral Claws (Now Red Corsairs) possibly the Soul Drinker (Though i'm not sure they count) and also Relictors.
It isn't just black and white, there are many shades of grey when it comes to factions in 40k.

I don't think the relictors really count as they never turned away from the light of the emperor, never worshipping chaos, but there are lots of factions that hate the IoM but not humans.

You can talk about them but the point was you made it sound like a non-DIY chapter which was misleading and also know one else knew what you were talking about.

Obvously I must resort to missing Primarch.... Primarch lands on an Eldar planet, is thought their ways and lives like them, stupid Imperium kidnap him and he secretly vows to get revenge. Leaves before the heresy, his legions records arent deleted but put in the Xenos section instead.

Um guys, this is his fluff and he should be able to do what he wants with it, however it is better to fall in line with gw existing fluff as this make other people accept your version easier.

no one said he couldn't its whether or not it actually works with the established fluff of the 40k universe, he could model his entire army as female space marines, but his fluff would be totally incompatable with the canon 40k universe, people are pointing out the (in some places, massive) plot holes in the fluff in relation to the 40k universe.
