Fantasy chaos. I picked it because I had a battlemaster's game lying around and they looked a lot tougher than the empire figs that it came with. I even made custom cardboard bases for all of the miniatures because there wasn't a game store within 50 miles of my house .

My first army is IG, in fact I am still working on them. Either adding more today or next week. Currently at ~500 pts

i picked IG because I wanted a challenge and in so doing the only challenge is finding money.......

Deadly Dark Eldar Warrior

My first army is the one I started two weeks ago: Dark Eldar. Some of my friends at college have been playing on campus for the past couple years, and I played occassionally with a friends Tau. Finally decided I wanted to get into it myself, and the Dark Eldar and I fit pretty perfectly, so I went out and got a few boxes. I mean, in the absence of space ninjas, space pirates are obviously the best

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

Skaven, back in 4th (5th? don't remember for sure) ed WHFB. My buddies and I had been playing Warhammer Quest for a while, and decided to make the jump to the full-blown game. I had no idea what the Skaven were, but they had a cool icon and the little green pamphlet at the store sounded intriguing. Soon I was knee-deep in rats and cackling maniacally at my giant hamster wheel crashing into enemy units.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there are only rules disputes.
