Yah, I can see the legs being a bit small. Maybe I will see if the scout biker legs work better if I can get my hands on some.

I surely dont mind sharing at all mate!
I primed the flat white, them base coated it with Tamiya desert yellow. Then using a similar yellow and an bleach bone type color I did some highlighting. a couple of stages of this. Once it was dry I used a mix of 65-35 black -brown wash from Digis, then added about 20 % water to the mix. I then washed the whole thing concentrating on the deeper areas and the guns/exhaust. Thats it, a pretty simple job realy.

Dam thanks for sharing, I have a pot of desert yellow in the garage (hard as nails now ) but I loved that colour painted loads of minis in it LOL.

If you want you could GS up the legs from the original rider to give it some thickness

Any way keep it coming mate loving your work

Been a long while since I've had time to work on the renegades. I've already got just about everything I could ever need, so now its time to add stuff I don't need!

I picked up some of these rotten puppets from Maxmini as well as the legs, heads and torsos of these fellas. I plan to run them as veterans or storm troopers, not sure yet. But I like they way they look.

Oh, I added up all my traitor guard and I have over 8000 points. That doesn't include any of the daemons or chaos space marines. I think I may have a problem...

Dam you do have a problem, however at least you make a use of yours LOL

They look amazing mate, great use of Maxmini heads, torsos and legs are the arms from FW renegade sets

I have to say this is growing at a good rate, what colour scheme are you going for with the great coat minis

The zombie head is a nice touch, although I would have gone with the officer cap for him

Thanks.
Yes, arms are form FW renegades. I've still got a small stock pile from the other renegades.

Not sure on the color, I Was thinking brown coats and grey pants but not sure.

Thanks guys.

Trenches are from armorcast. They have a pretty wide range of trenches and are priced reasonably.

I built another unit of militia recently using WFB flagellents, Victoria Lamb Penal Legion arms and some other Victoria Lamb heads.

I also picked up one of the new Hell Brutes. The model just looks too cool not to get. After building it I converted one of my two Dark Vengence Hell Brutes with the extra arms from the new one.

So that brings me up to 4 hell brutes, 1 decimater and 1 blood slaughterer.

I've always liked the idea of chaos spawn but never liked the actual models. So when these plague toads came out I thought they would make great chaos spawn so I picked some up. They are much bigger than I expects. They easily take up an entire 40mm base and the detail is fantastic.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I also added another veteran unit with shotguns. Lets see that makes 5 veteran units. Can ever have too much cannon fodder though?

I thought the idea of a counts as Harker would be fun so I made this fella.

More veterans. This time with autoguns, plasma guns, plasma pistol and power maul.

Couple of more veteran Sgts

Victoria Lamb has some amazing bits. Her new penal legion are really nice so I thought the bits would look great on CRM torsos to give them that extra ragged feel. Here's another infantry squad.

If these bits would have existed when I started the army I would have made all the infantry look like this...

Some more counts as Ratlings.
