Guard Heavy Weapon Crewman

On TV corrupting the minds of children.

WOW! Amazing figure painting, I especially love that Sentinel pilot, the realistic blood effects look great. The Evil Maxmini heads remind me of Swampfolk from Fallout 3.

Imperial Guard 2000 points and counting 90% painted
Eldar 1000 points

I am a man,
Prone to weakness,
But I am a Guardsman,
Where weakness is death,
I will crush my weakness,
With the weight of my pride.

Still stunned and amazed. I feel like me telling you that your work is awesome is somewhat akin to a 9-year old kid on a bicycle telling an adult that his Harley is cool. The work you put into your Warhound (specifically the parts that you won't even see unless you take it apart) just staggers me.

Loving the converted missile launcher team using the Havok launchers!

It's a shame that all the renegade players live in America, as there's a whole bunch of Krieg players in my area!

Anyway great job, the entire army looks stunning.

I worked on some new renegades last night. Not sure why, its not like I need more but I thought these torsos looked cool and wanted to give them a try.

Maxmini torsos with cadian legs, FW arms and victoria heads:

Kromlech torsoswith GW legs, FW arms, maxmini heads:

I've never really liked the catachan legs much. They look too rigid and static to me. But I had them and I wanted to see how they would look.

Do you guys like the kromlech torso guys with the sub-machine guns and catachan arms or the ones with the FW machine pistol and ccw better?[hr]

a few people asked me for an army pic. Well, I didn't do it but I did get a pic of all the tanks.

You must spend a god-awful lot of $ on 40k . .

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

Wow, now these are chaos renegades! I mean no offense but it does get a bit boring when all I see is stock Cadian/Catachan stuff with a few spikes from chaos bitz

Rampaging Reaver Titan Princeps

Earlobe deep in doo doo

That titan is arguably the best I've ever seen. Really am impressed with the simplicity of the Palanquin idea as well. I also really like the friendly chaos sentinel. It's got a real 80's cartoon vibe!

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Love your work so much! Im building (recently started) my own renegade IG army, and you a source of continual inspiration to me.

Keep up the good work, and keep the photos flowing.
Love your orange rust colors on the deathguard and the daemon prince/herald. Did you you weathering powders for that (on Mamon)?

Some WIP shots / guide would be much appreciated!

I love this thread. A lot of inspiration to be had for my own renegades here. I particularly like the paintjob on the Blight Drone.

Thanks! Much appreciated. Yes, I used Mig pigments for the rust on the daemon prince for the weapon barrels and the large barrel on his back.

I'll try to get some WIP shots when I start up the next items.

Thanks.
I've been working on some terrain lately, that and orks. Waiting for a few bits to arrive and then I will have some more renegades to work on as well.

City ruins:

Craters, hills and woods:

Trenches PIP:

I've got several more cities of death buildings, bunkers and a large chaos bunker also in the works.

That is from Maxmini.
http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=118

It comes with a platform so it can be a stand alone kit or you can mount it on a chimera. I like it quite a bit as well.

Thanks.

Well, what can I say mate but outstanding work you leave me amazed and shamed
Your colour scheme works so well it was kind of the colour I had in mind for mine, but could never get it right

The titan really is a work of art the colours in that as to contrast is eye catching, the blue cables with ….. lets call it chaos ( hate saying beige ) and the pilot with the fleshy works great.

Nice selection of company pieces used, looking a right rag tagged unit ….. But in a really good way

Love the colour change for the enforcers brilliant, generally amazing work, like the rough rider so far (want to see more though) but do you think bulking his legs out a little as they seem a little thin.

You know me always picking

Great stuff cant wait for more

Thanks a lot lone dirty dog! I'm glad you like my renegades so much, I have put a ton of work into the army and continue to chip away at it when I can these days.

I forgot to take pics of the interior once it was all done before I assembled it. I also need to finish up the base for it to get it 100%.

I haven't been over pleased with the rough riders, I am thinking of changing them to enforcer bodies or maybe something else. But not sure what I will do. They always do so terrible on the table top that I dont have a whole lot enthusiasim for them.

I cant help you on the gaming side (sorry dont play ) but using the enforcer bodies might work, it's just I found the rider on them quite small in comparison to guards , maybe using the scouts biker legs could work

I like the look of the actual bike and I like the rider (complete Maxmini kit ) just don't think they work that well together, however your paint job looks brilliant hell I might go back and do mine now

If I could be cheeky would you give me a break down on how you painted the bike, you know what used and how as i really love how that has turned out if you don't mind sharing
