Ok from what I can remember, the original Katyushas had to be built by gluing all the individual components together, where as I am 99% sure that the rack came as a complete component. With the rockets and the truck carriage making it a 5 piece set instead of the original 20!!!

Here are the pictures of the newer one, it also has an attached stand and crew. The old ones where seperate.

Hope that helps

That's a lot of T34s! On the AA guns, why did you not put on the skirting/walls of the rear of the trucks? It doesnt look bad but I am curious as to why? What is next in the painting queue?

Two reasons really, one was they are a nightmare to glue and two, they broke off to easily.

10 T26's are up next.

Nice packing shot there, but argh bending gun barrel risk!

Dont know if you've been following all the crap going on, but Maelstrom are having a 25% off Flames of War sale at the moment - might be able to pick up some bargains.

I would say about the same time, maybe a little less due to the smaller scale.

Depends on the standard you want.

Do you get your models from FoW? or from forged in battle? Because if you got them from FoW then this is a lot of money!
