Why? If the blood god wishes that kharn go sleeveless, who is kharne to disobey him?

Because kharn is cold, he needs that arm warmer...

He has the blood of billions to keep his arm warm. Forget about Power armor

Chaos Dread.

There are only two ways to fix it:

1. Make it an all encompassing plastic kit.
2. Make it and every other Dread out of the old lead alloy they used to use, so that we can throw them at people to win rules arguments.

I can see Oblits being redone ala Bloodcrushers/Kans/Raveners when the 'Chaos' Codex gets redone into a real Chaos Codex.

The other one that needs redoing is the Avatar. My God that thing is ancient and tiny. It needs to be impressive. Not stretched out and super-thin like the FW one - it just needs some presence.

I hope they never re-do the Phoenix Lords. Yes, the Eldar line has some of the oldest remaining models in 40K (and all of Citadel, for that matter), but they are essentially perfection and I think Jes should never touch them unless he knows he can do them better.

Yeah, I agree with everything you just posted.

IMO, metal dreads are wonderful, its just that this one is so ugly

In a thread I made a while back, someone suggested that it would be a plastic kit, and that all the 'diety troops choices' would come with accessories for it.
ie;
Buy some plague marines, you get a front armor piece and some leg armor and maybe even a couple other things, as well as some rhino and land raider general accessories.

sounded cool to me.

I'd love to see plastic libbys and chaplains like they have for the SM commander. That could be a fantastic box

I have no idea why they did the Hive Tyrant in metal. They showed they could do an utterly fantastic big, plastic Tyranid set with the Carnifex.

The only thing I'd want changed really is the absurdly big guns on tanks. I know they're meant to be 'herioc scale', but they take it way too far sometimes, like with the Leman Russ turrets.

Because of the Carnifex. The Carnifex was a proof of concept, and if successful they would do more big beasties. Thing is, the Tyrant and 'Fex came out at the same time, so there was no time to see if the 'Fex would work before starting work on a plastic Tyrant (plastic models tend to take a while to make from design to finished product). They could do it now - and I can see a plastic Tyrant coming the next time around - but at the time it probably didn't make economical sense to do two big beasties in plastic, just like this time around it make more sense to make a new big beasty in plastic (the Trygon) rather than rehash a metal one that had only been out for one edition.
