Yeah, Anon is mostly something confined to the more lawless/whiny boards, specifically /b/ (random), /a/ (anime) and arguably /v/ (video games), but the latter tends towards trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls (recurring).

In all honesty, a lot of the people who claim to be part of Anonymous are full of gak. Nietzsche wannabes and basement-dwellers, mostly. It's the tech-savvy guys who raid websites; the rest of 4chan just cheers them on.

There was 2 videos. One of her dad, and the one with her swearing like a sailor, making many different racial and sexual slurs and overall being a little brat. I think her parents reacted in the wrong way, and that girl should have never been on 4chan in the first place. However, Anonymous did take it too far. If they had left it to just the internet (IE, some good ol' fashion trolling) to straighten her out, I would support them 100%. But the real life threats were unacceptable. I would also like to point out in the article that it was talking about the users, and that the mods try to prevent this kind of stuff.

This post is in no way an attack on you micaphone, I am just posting my opinion.

I agree; the father and daughter were acting very poorly, but come on, asking for, well, that and stealing all of her personal contact info, well that's just horrible. That's why we need moderators.
