The guys at Hit Point like 2000 points and higher. Some of them have caught 'Ard Boyz fever and want 2500 points. Some of them have huge armies and just like to use as many of their models as they can. A couple of times when asking for a pick up game I've gotten a "only 2000?" as a response. The gamers I've met at Hit Point are all a friendly bunch, but I'm a newbie in the store and some of the regulars have some beefs with each other that you'll pick up on.

Amen to that last part. There can be drama and all of us are competitive as hell. 1750-2000 are the normal game sizes. It is a friendly shop though. I will keep an eye out for you, orksmash.

I'll definitely have to stop in to Hit Point it sounds like. What's 'normal' days for table-top there? Is it just weekends, or is there a weekday evening that draws a crowd as well?

Really Sunday is a good time. A lot of folks come in during the week though. If you come in, ask for Levi. We can have a chat about it and maybe have a game. My Guard are gathering dust, so its time to break them back out.

It's also here on the dakka store finder.

We've got some folks playing 40k on Sundays. I think Saturdays are mostly Heroclix now.

The Hobby Chest in jacksonville is a great shop. Saturdays and Sundays you'll be able to find a game of 40k or fantasy. There's a fairly large amount of people who play there.

Saturday nights are Heroclix. Friday nights are FNM, but in the back a lot of folks play Warmahordes, as well as Saturday afternoons.

For Anyone in the Greensboro/Asheboro area I update the Store finder with the location people play in Greensboro, if anyone is interested in playing in the area hit me up, only a handful of us in Asheboro who play and it'd be nice to meet/find some new gaming buddies.

Been trying to do some games on Saturdays here in Asheboro (we play on a table in my garage) if anyone is interested in meeting at say, Hobbytown, and then maybe hanging at my place in the future that'd be awesome.

(Hasn't been an updated post in this thread in a little bit, was hoping for some more NC interest)

Hey Jstncloud. Are you guys meeting at the hobbytown in Greensboro? I currently am in Raleigh because of school but am from Liberty so I'm close to Greensboro and Asheboro. Hit me up so we can game when I head back to town.
