Look at the top of page 2. It is a Space Marine torso with the skull at the centre drilled out and replaced with an inset ballbearing I think.

Love the work so far, white is a ridiculously hard colour to work in, congrats for trying and it did look awesome, but you have to love the paintscheme or the motivation dies.

Tbh, I don't think that the green works.
I'd say use a light grey (such as fortress grey) to paint them with.

This is very different to your other stuff, but I'm liking the sleekness of it

I like the green I think if you base it right it will look really good and reflect more of a camo feel.

Since I won't be doing this project anymore and everyone is asking I'll upload a tutorial on how to build the X-23 battle armour tomorrow.

White was proving hard to paint and the dark angels paint scheme while commando like would make the details and differences of each of the suits hard to spot from a distance.

While the model looks great, another 16 similar versions and 12 identical fire warriors and 20 shield drones won’t make for an interesting army.

An entry into ’Armies On Parade’ needs a centre piece to be successful and this army doesn’t have one (given that all the suits look the same, the main farsight unit isn't really a centre piece)

Also the tau codex is rumoured to be the next non imperial release after/before Necron. So this army might not be legal in a year.

So I’ve decided to go my post-apocalyptic army concept; The Kroggs! instead which will have a lot more variety in the army.
