Possibly mentioned but he could be a trooper from an armoured regiment. As they need shorter weapons so they will not take upas much space in the tank and are easier for the tank trooper to use in the confined space if (The Emperor forbid) enemy forces were to breach the tank.

i am still thinking and working on those minis... and i saw in my time of serviuce how those armored troops used shorter versions or at least some with cocked buttstucks...
the project will get to see some work soon again... got again a bit sidetracked from this sidetrack project of another sidetrack project...well i have sometimes really much on my mind...^^

The wounded guy needs a haircut!

Their is a pic like the one you want. But it has a Commisar, a guardsmen, and a guardswomen. The guardsmen is wounded, the commisiar's arm is broken, and the guardswomen is ready to kick ass. Would that work?

work? well i know that really good diorama...but i have my own take on the diorama...

I prefer the idea of three men of similar rank...one of the commissariat with a guardsman and a woman? Not so much.

haha, no, but I wish it was. It's Michale Graves, the second singer from The Misfits, a (Horror) Punk band. They got some great songs.

I can see that the commisars have influenced these guardsmen well... (Btw did one of the commisars shoot the middle guy?)

lol... could be but it wasn´t intended that way^^... more like the two on the flanks try to rescue their sargent...who got stabed/shot by some enemy...

I the commissar had shot him, he'd:
-be dead- they go for the head
-he wouldn't be rescued. It would be seen as preventing an execution and they'd be shot, too.
I see it as thier sarge has been either hit by shrapnel or a bolt-round got him in the cheest, but his flak armour stopped him from being killed instantly.

yup on all acounts as i cant see a commissar miss his target...
some fiece enemy got the better of the sarge... depends on the wound i think i will do in the end... could be a nid would as much as it is shown already...i have to get that model on my desk again to decide...maybe i add a frantically shooting guardsman to help in the matter to get the sarge into safety...
