Subject: Re:The most upsetting/saddest moment in videogames
When all the Spartans Died, I didn't like how they died, they died absolutely horribly. I only had a tear when Noble 6 died.
i noticed something in Halo Reach:
Spoiler:
First of all, the big dudes death upset but anyway; did the sniper guy die? he just went off with Dr. Halsey at the end and you don't find out what happens to him. I'm still hoping they'll release DLC for him and it could also explain where noble 6 was at end and how he got there.
Well from what I understand
Spoiler:
No We don't know what happens to him, but it does say in the books that only like 12 Spartan II's and like 100 Spartan III's survived. He could of survived but I highly doubt it.
It says in the halo 3 manual MC was the ONLY Spartan II to have survived. I dont know to be sure though.
Definitely for me the most heart wrenching moment in gaming history was (Do I even need to spoiler this!?!?!)
Spoiler:
Wake Me, When You Need Me. It was even worse on the non legendary ending, where you are just left with your jaw touching the ground as Arbiter makes it back to earth and CHIEF DOESNT!?!?! JUST BECAUSE HE WAS 50 METERS AWAY IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SHIP!!!!!!?!!!?!??!!!? (soz for caps) but in general the fact that even after fighting all that time, finally there is peace, and Chief doesnt make it home. He works so hard, endures so much loss, and he is left in the depths of space.
Heres to that planet he floats towards being a Shield world / forunner world (obviously its a forrunnner world due to the runes on it, Marathon included
As a kid, I was pretty sad when I found out [Kotor Related]
Spoiler:
I was Revan
Totally fell for it.
Non gaming? Avatar
Spoiler:
When all the characters start dying in the final battle, Trudy in the helicopter first, then Neytiri's Banshee, Norms Avatar, generally all the Na'vi getting slaughtered due to humanities ignorance. I shed a single tear when I suspected Jake had died, but he didnt. Was also sad when Grace died. Touching movie.
When I was 7 years old I welled up when [Star Wars]
Spoiler:
Quigon died
Otherwise, I agree with the posters on the first page. Red Dead Redemptions ending was trying to say the least, I didnt care much for [GoW2]
Spoiler:
Dom's wife, right up until Marcus, the big tough badass never show human emotion lent down and said "Dom, it's okay", then it was pretty emotional.
The Last Day trailer for gears 2 was also FANTASTIC!
