I wanted to know why the hell they couldnt just use a pheonix down on Aerith....
Storyline>>>>>>Pheonix down
Because:
Spoiler:
Phoenix Down does return you from the dead. It revives you from unconsciousness from taking too much damage. You notice how Phoenix Downs are not necessary when you finish the battle? Whoeever needed it during the battle has 1 HP after the battle. At least that is how I thought of it. Aerith had like -6666 hit points from that sword.

I know people don't tend to rate Medal of Honour as a good game, what with CoD getting all the press, but I did think the ending of the campaign, after all the fighting you go through on the mountain, and going in to save your squadmates... to end like this.
They made me put my companion cube into the incinerator!
And to that, I post this:

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

When all the Spartans Died, I didn't like how they died, they died absolutely horribly. I only had a tear when Noble 6 died.
i noticed something in Halo Reach:
Spoiler:
First of all, the big dudes death upset but anyway; did the sniper guy die? he just went off with Dr. Halsey at the end and you don't find out what happens to him. I'm still hoping they'll release DLC for him and it could also explain where noble 6 was at end and how he got there.
Well from what I understand
Spoiler:
No We don't know what happens to him, but it does say in the books that only like 12 Spartan II's and like 100 Spartan III's survived. He could of survived but I highly doubt it.
Spoiler:
The Spartan III's who we assume are alive are from Gamma Company. Jun is from Alpha, and all known members except for Tom and Lucy are dead or MIA (most likely dead). Jun isn't mentioned at all during First Strike, probably because he didn't exist as a character when it was written, but that aside Jun is most likely dead as well. He isn't with Halsey and the Spartan II's in FS, nor is he mentioned. The best guess is that he either died protecting her, or got left behind at some point and would have been killed when the Covenant glassed the planet.
Spoiler:
Jun's alive. Bungie's hinted at as much, and Nylund has said that he wants to talk about how it happened but it's tied up in continuity issues for the moment.
Call me crazy, but I've got a sneaking suspicion this is not the end of Jun
Spoiler:
I hate retcons

He could have stayed behind on Reach and gotten folded in with the Spartans who defended Halsey during First Strike, or he could have took her to Castle Base and then left her there, thinking she'd be safe, to go hunting for Covenant.

It would have to be a retcon as the survival of the character doesn't fit into the current canon without retconning something or without going over the top. Reach already Retcon's Ghosts of Onyx and First Strike once. I'd rather avoid doing it again.
EDIT: Continuity issues = Canon issues

I doubt none of the Spartan II's noticed the new guy they'd never seen before who was half their size. Second option still has him dying when the planet gets glassed assuming he isn't killed before hand like Noble 6.

I think we can all agree that they really nee to release DLC for this, I would suggest having Noble 6 leaving the shipyard as he is contacted by Jun and you go help him as he crashed with Halsey... Jun dies defending Halsey just as noble 6 turns up but Halsey is ok, then Noble 6 is required to go to an old spartan training facility (the last level) to gather information with Halsey. The covenant begins to turn up so Noble 6 says he'll remain behind to allow Halsey to get away, cue last level. Actually I like this so much I'm just gonna believe it from now on. Now we can stop all the off-topic halo reach stuff, although I would join in if someone started a separate thread.
Its late, and this wasent really a game, but it had me crying for a good 5 minutes.
Code Geass season final
Spoiler:
The clips they play at the end, of everyone else getting to live out happy lives, while he lies bleeding in the streets, surrounded by his former comrades, got me. I cried for a while after that.
BTW, that Gorgutz clip is sad. But he lives, so its cool.

Aiesa's death.....What the hell, a clear decapitation, and your best bud's wife....I mean c'mon. Oh and Marco's death....being dragged over ashphelt, and if you hit him you lose the mission. Then your character shoots him after rescuing him. That was just nasty. Mind you the revenge you give is awesome. You busted up my buddy, I'll just lock your girlfriend in the boot of your car so you run over her in your monster truck.

The player is introduced to Rachel as Locke's girlfriend from Kohlingen. One day, Locke took Rachel to Mt. Kolts, supposedly looking for what would become her engagement ring. Upon crossing a rickety bridge, it began to collapse with Locke on it, before Rachel pushed him out of the way just in time. In doing so, however, Rachel took the fall for him. Locke saved her and brought her back to Kohlingen, but due to the fall, she had lost her memory. Her father blamed it on Locke, and he kicked him out of their house. Rachel agreed to her father's decision because she had no memory of Locke, and only saw him as someone who was upsetting her parents. The residents of Kohlingen were also angry at him, leading him to leave the town. Rachel was killed one year later in a raid by the Empire, but her memory was also restored right before her death. Her last words were: "If Locke should ever return, please tell him that I love him."
Locke eventually heard about the attack, and came back to Kohlingen only to find he was too late. Determined to do something for her, he took her to an herbologist living in Kohlingen, who preserved her body in its youthful state using herbs. After that, Locke searched for a way to bring her back to life. His feelings of guilt continued to haunt him, causing him to try to protect every woman he came across in need. He searched far and wide for a way, but he did not find it until the world was destroyed. He heard of the legendary Esper Phoenix that could revive the dead. He immediately went searching for it, and found it right when the player party showed up. When he got to Kohlingen, he used the Phoenix Esper on Rachel. Despite this, the cracked Magicite shard could only revive her for a few seconds. She helped Locke overcome his guilt, told him to "give his love to the one who now dwelt in his heart" and died again.

Spoiler:
Celes attempts suicide.
A full year later Celes awakes from a coma on a small island in the care of Cid. Cid tells her that in the wake of the destruction a year ago, the world has been sliding further into ruin and whatever survivors remained on the island with them have perished or killed themselves. Deciding to think of Cid as her grandfather, Celes attempts to repay his kindness by caring for him while he is ill. Depending on the player's actions Cid will either live or die. If he dies, Celes travels to the northern part of the island and leaps into the sea to kill herself. However, she survives and washes ashore where she finds a wounded bird, its wound wrapped in a bandana. Celes takes this as a sign Locke is alive and finds a letter from Cid, directing her to a raft hidden in the basement of their home. If the player manages to save Cid, he shows Celes the raft himself. Either way, Celes leaves the island to return to the mainland and find her friends

Hopper in Homefront accidently fired white phosphorous on a friendly position-- which you were in, though you were lucky enough to be under a roof and not get directly hit-- and you saw your own people burning alive from a friendly fire accident
... was pretty powerful.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I don't know how to do the spoiler thing...but I'm shocked at how long it took me to see Aeris's name show up from FFVII-more than halfway down the first page. Also, the death roster in the new MK game was pretty large. As I said, I don't know how to use the spoiler thing, so I won't throw names out there, but I was ecstatic when I saw that Johnny Cage was one of the few survivors!!

my theory is that he screwed Linda and they had a child that had SUPER MEGA SNIPER SKILLS, AKA a spartan 3.5. well, not really but that would be cool
Spoiler:
he may have impersonated one of the other SPARTANS that had died and then died himself, i'm thinking Li, Iasaac or Grace.
Spoiler:
continuity errors may be fixed in new released books or redone books like how they re did Fall of reach and The Flood
Spoiler:
i like the theory that he dropped Dr Halsey off, grabbed a Prototype Sniper and ammo and went Alien Hunting. then, he dies an awesome death! they could do a Halo: eveloutions short story on it in one of the new volumes!
