Thanks Tony! I stopped by my GW today and picked up some Lootas and Burnas. This army is coming together so nicely, I might have to take a group picture. I also have a partially assembled Boss Zagstrukk to add to the Stormies mob.

I also picked up Vlad von Carstein! Whoo! Loving these new Vampire Count models.

Wooo stormboyz!

Love the models, rules and fluff, be nice to see them painted though! Watch out for the Zaggy model, if it's still in metal then he's a pain to assembled and keep assembled (specifically, the leg/base to the torso and the choppa arm)

You know, I actually ended up with a miscasted finecast Zagstrukk model. Going to get that replaced soon. The only metal thing I have for my orks is my deff dread. I'll get to painting soon, but I've been trying to help my boyfriend prepare for 'Ard Boyz. It's tomorrow! After that I'll bust the whip out and get crackin.

Funny, I hear all these horror stories about miscast finecast. I have several now, and haven't had a problem at all. Not even a bubble!

Dreadfleet. Should be fun to see what you do with it. But we need more orks. The spider conversion look awesome. Lets see some paint on it.

Ohhh the pressure! I just recently rescued a puppy, and he's been chewing on my minis. I am in the process of moving all of my warhammer stuff into my office so I can paint at work. I have been painting a little bit, I got a squad of Necron scarabs painted and I also got my boyfriends table painted. (It has been looking ugly for the past year..)

COMPLAINT #1: I also got my Lord of Change near finished. It is my absolute favorite model in 40k. This is my second LoC model, both painted beautifully. What is the complaint you ask? His f*cking wing broke in half. But that isn't the worst of it. I had my boyfriend glue it back together for me, and the very next day liquid green stuff came out. What would once have been a /slightly/ less detailed part of the wing, is now a line of hideous, boring glue. :(

However, thanks to this post being revived and all of the lovely feedback, I am deciding to commit to painting my spiderwagon. Pics coming up asap. My main delay with the thing is figuring out how I want to paint the spider. But, I will suck it up and figure it out.

Lol the puppy loves the expensive stuff I see

I know how you feel about that, I had a couple knights break and the liquid green stuff would have been a real savior.

Yay the spider wagon will get some love finally!

Also you should post some pics of the crons and the table

Next step: Find acceptable music.
Then: Make coffee. REAL coffee. From the hills of Columbia.. (It will awaken you from a thousand deaths)

We refuse to take sides in this anymore. And we refuse to let you turn us against one another. We know who we are now, we can find our own way between order and chaos...

It's over because we've decided it's over. Now get the hell out of our galaxy! Both of you.

I made coffee. Real coffee.
Then, my boss came in with a to-do list for me. I am going to continue painting in the morning/afternoon, so I can feel accomplished enough to play a game on Sunday. I'm stoked. I finally have a solid idea for my wagon, I know what I want it to look like. Just got to get to it.

It will be done by the end of the month.

The wagon shall live! I can't wait for you to bring it in store on a Saturday to play a game.

Sooooooo..... I got some stuff done in the past year and a half, but not nearly enough for me to brag about, so here is my (modest) update.

I just picked up the paintbrush again after a job change, relocation of self, and ending of a relationship. It's cool, I work at a bike shop now. Perfect inspiration for da orkses. So glad to finally start getting stuff painted again. Wish me luck. Or else.

Good luck! The evil voice in my head asks: How much of your ex's armies did you walk away with?

May the new job rock, and the new year roll.

Hah, good question!! The only thing I took was the old paint set (Not the super snazzy new one). All the stuff I have I bought with my own hard-earned money, except for maybe a box of tank sprues.. and some guns.. And maybe there's some chaos stuff that mysteriously appeared in my trunk. But hey, who's keeping score?
Thank you sir

Thanks Spuj! I wanted to go for the more muted tones, it makes the highlighting stand out better. I am in love with this dry underhive ash stuff, I brush it on during the second coat of paint, and then highlight accordingly. then finish it off at the end with another light drybrush of it. My orks don't look dirty, but they are damn snazzy.
