Combat squads are a must imo as they will stop the tanks all focussing on a single unit. If you keep a lascannon/melta in each combat squad they should survive long enough to take out the tanks

Welcome to the Daemonhunters, the ranks of the exalted Ordo Malleus and their cannon fod....er, I mean, loyal allies. Remember...the only ones who need fear the righteous might of the Ordo Malleus are the Daemonic.

As cool and versatile as this idea sounds, in practice it is a waste of a slot. The Predator exists to kill hordes or tanks, and functions better if you pick one. Want versatility? Get a Vindicator.

I like the version with the Medusa better, but this is actually a terror to fight.

The Vindi's actually not a bad idea, but the 24" range kinda puts me off. You'd think a cannon that big would have more range.LOL

It is the 3rd Millennium. For more than a hundred months Games Workshop has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Nottingham. It is the foremost of wargames by the will of the neckbeards, and master of a million tabletops by the might of their inexhaustible wallets. It is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with business strategies from the early Industrial Revolution Age. It is the Carrion Lord of the wargaming scene for whom a thousand veteran players are sacrificed every day, so that it may never truly die. Yet even in its deathless state, GW continues its eternal vigilance. Mighty battleforce starter-sets cross the online-store-infested miasma of the internet, the only route between distant countries, their way lit by a draconian retail trade-agreement, the legal manifestation of the GW's will. Vast armies of lawyers give battle in GW's name on uncounted websites. Greatest amongst its soldiers are the Guardians of the IP, the Legal Team, bio-engineered super-donkey-caves. Their comrades in arms are legion: the writing team and countless untested rulebooks, the ever vigilant redshirts, and the writers of White Dwarf, to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from other games, their own incompetence, Based Chinaman - and worse. To support Games Workshop in such times is to spend untold billions. It is to support the cruelest and most dickish company imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of sales discounts and Warhammer Fantasy Battle, for so much has been dropped, never to be re-published again. Forget the promise of cheaper digital content and caring about the fanbase, for in the GW HQ there is only profit-seeking, Space Marines and Sigmarines. There is no fun amongst the hobby shops, only an eternity of raging and spending, and the laughter of former employees who left GW to join better companies.

A set up my buddy uses, he calls it the road warrior list.

Just spam tac squads in rhinos, combat squad them with the ML in a static group in cover and a power fist and melta in the rhino. I’ve fount this can be rough to deal with at most point levels. In larger games it will incorporate DS dreds and stern guard. I’ve never seen it at 750 but may be worth looking at.

Sorry didn’t see that last list, the prob here is most IG will out gun you, big time. The IG player is going to take out each of the razorbacks first turn (unless they get very unlucky) leaving only your vindicator on the table. Your troops in the raz are no threat to IG, they have flamers, flamers are pointless when fighting tanks. So they will be ignored until everything else is dead on the field or the plasma gets board and wants to pop off some shots.

I’m really not trying to play “big stick” here, just trying to let you get in the head of an IG player. When you say I have 4 LC and one demolisher cannon, I think ok kill/shutdown the 2 las with AV 11. First turn. Then 2ed turn kill off or shut down the demolisher cannon before it hits your line. Obviously there are safeties build in to the list. Exp: if SM go first or a las gets through and wrecks something. I wont bore you with the details unless you want to hear about it

Yeah, um... Vindicators are bad. Don't take them.

I think someone suggested Dakka Preds; those are good and cheap.

Land Speeders are excellent also.

Razorbacks are fine.

Drop all the extra armor, it sucks.
