I do not, but I voted 'Yes' since I use them often enough.
I've been hunting since it's been legal for me (age 16 thanks to my state's junior hunting license). And I've been shooting a few years before that. So I've had experience with rifles and muskets, and have had much more experience with handling shotguns (known to me as 'slug guns'). I'll accredit my respect of firearms to my time hunting, since I've had both my Father and grandfather relating stories back to me. And it's always a little haunting seeing what a gun can do to a flesh-and-blood creature (white-tail deer), instead of the only way most people see firearms, via video games and gun ranges.
I've also shot semi-auto pistols and revolvers, but I didn't like them as much. Not as much control, and it seems like the barrel could be too easily pointed in the wrong direction.
I've also got a Springfield 1911, currently residing in the ownership of my grandfather, who purchased it for me. We're both big WWII fans. He's also got a collection of guns that I'm going to have to fight my Uncle for - a M1 Carbine, a M1 Garand, a Mauser K98, an Egyptian Maadi AK-47, and a non-standard issue WWII German officer's pistol.
I've also got a compound bow if that counts. I got my first bow deer with it this year!

Well with pistols use standard range rules, and for the guns your grandfather has all I have to say is DO WANT

I don't have too many guns, but I do have more than one. I have a nice .22 rimfire for plinking, a mosin-nagant for assassinating paper targets, and an SKS for the same thing.
My dad has my grandpa's M1 Garand and hopefully get that at some point in time along with his SKS, reproduction Thompson, .22's, .357, and shotgun.
No sniper rifle scopes or anything, but I plan on getting some pistols when I can. Either that or three mosin nagants for the price of one pistol.

I own an amount of guns that has even my most ardent Republican friends staring in awe when I start pulling them out of various safes and hiding places.

No, mostly because of the costs for having one, Purchase price of the weapon/bullets, cleaning materials, and storage case.
I would like one for just in case I did need it, but have not had to have a need for one in many years.

L1A1 SLR battle rifle (the Steyr was just beginning to be circulated, and Qies did not come high on the list to receive them (even though we did issue them out).
Purpose: Soldier in the Australian Army.
It was more efficient to buy and maintain your own rifle than check one from stores, re-zero the sights every time you got one out to use, adjust every other setting, etc. If it shaved seconds off your readiness, it was good. Most of my infantry unit owned their own rifles.

I don't own one myself yet, but the family owns several handguns and a hunting rifle. Used for target practice, self defense, defense of the home. And the rifle used to be used for hunting but we couldn't be arsed these days.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

I just found a surplus Russian pistol that I want to get, its only $110, works fine, and fires 7.62x38r. Sure it'll demolish my wrists, but so much win.

Another cool point about the 1895 - It's one of a very, VERY small number of revolvers on the face of the earth that can effectively be equipped with a suppressor!
The SKS and AK47/AKM use 7.62x39mm....and they have a much -wider- casing, with a lot more gunpowder than the little 7.62 cartridges the 1895 nagant uses. 1895 is throwing a lighter bullet a lot slower....but speaking from experience with cut-down pistol-fied AKs, even the 7.62x39 doesn't kick that bad, I would rate hotloaded .40 out of a glock as being more unpleasant.
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=520853 This is the ammunition for the 1895 Nagant revolver. As you can see, it's a thin rimmed casing with the bullet recessed down into the brass. This is why it can be silenced/suppressed. The cylinder is actually pushed forward during the trigger squeeze, and upon ignition the case opening expands and seals with the walls of the barrel unlike almost every other revolver, where a gap between the end of the cylinder and the barrel is present.
http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=481507 This is the 7.62x39 for SKS/AK/VZ58/etc. ....Regular ol bottleneck profile rifle ammunition. Vast majority of the cartridge case is taken up by gunpowder rather than a recessed projectile, and it's got a big ol lump of copper and lead on top.
