I've been away from my painting duties recently and have been able to get some games in with my new army. I'm doing a mediocre 5-3-1. But not bad for being out of the hobby for so long.

Anyway, I am not happy with the cape of Sathonyx and have decided to put the model away and work on something else. Enter the coven. They are creepy, tough, and the haemonculus is important to cult units. So i'll have at least 3. One is being painted which I'll show later but this one is I liked though some find it weird. Haemonctopus has more than 8 limbs, and even more impressive appendages.

Now that's cool, I'd been hoping to see one of these converted since I've kept mine fairly standard. Will he follow the same colour scheme as the rest of your army or something a little different?

Thanks Kitch, I am keeping the bone armor for his chest plate. But his outer cape is a patchwork of flesh, essentially using flesh tones and fortress grey mixes, then doing a wash of ogryn flesh.

The weapons are being experimented with. For my raider hulls I did a boltgun metal, black ink, then drubrush gold, so i did that for the liquifier guns. I am also trying other mixes for other weapons because I don't want them to all look alike. This weekend I'll post my almost finished haemonculus which is more standard, but I switched out one arm
