The thing is I've been thinking about nids for a while and have been having problems shifting my beastmen, if I sell on ebay i doubt i'll get much and then ebay will take a bite so it doesn't seem worth it.

and after our talk yesterday it occurred to me. Especially as the money I made was going to go on either BA, more guard or nids

I was thinking about a straight up swap all your nids for all my beastmen, i'll even throw in the Army book and magic cards.

How bad are you nids? do they need a little TLC or are some broken beyond redemption.

I'm hoping it's the latter, don't mind a little fixing up.

Thanks. Well reason for the water drop is three fold

1) it's a tear drop as they are the Knights Repentant, I theosaurused (not a word i know) Repentant and made a bit of a brain storm diagram. Repentant > Sorrow > sadness > Tears. Notice all the helmets have tears under the eyes as well. It was good as i'm rubbish at free hand and needed an easy symbol.

2) You know my Guards obsession with water, the chapters stomping grounds are the same sector and thought it would tie the two in nicely.

3) Lorna convinced me that the fluff I had worked best with the BA rules, he also pointed out that BA models already have a droplet motif.

Some are in need of tlc, i still have most of the bitz, and i have all the sprues. Plus the new space hulk genestealers.

And the cards and book would be awesome.

Hi All

So in between life and painting a never ending supply of guardsmen I finally got round to painting my ogryns. I'm reasonably happy about them and with the exception of a half painted chimera and a super heavy (still can't settle on a variant) everything built is painted.

So here's Nork, should have cleared the back ground but you get the idea

And here is the squad

[img]http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2012/5/22/368991_sm-Jalvene%2C%20Ogryns.jpg[/img

Ogryn 1

Ogyrn 2

Ogryn 3

Ogryn 4

and the Bone 'ead

Once I finish the chimera i'm going to work on my super heavy, it's been sitting too long unpainted. I'm thinking the one with S10 AP1 no cover saves, but having never played apocalypse i'm not sure if I should take something more like a shandow sword.

After that I hope to start converting my psyker battle squad, although I need more las pistols for that one.

Thanks for stopping by, as always all comments welcome.

Thanks man, wass happy with my Nork. Although he will be known as Rog from now on

Now I have to have a play with my list and see if I can fit in 5 Ogyrns now though.

I just picked up the nids from Moe, thanks man. If you find the sprues it would be cool. You don't by any chance have the construction guides still do you?

oh by the way you seem to have included two swan knights and a coupl of dark elves as well

I look forward to seeing them, you going traditional colours? Bestigors are a solid was always a little disappointed by the minotaurs though

That will have been just what was around when i was grabbing them. I probably don't have the sprues, but i definatly have all the botz. And i'll have a scout for the guides.

You'll have to wait and see my paint scheme.

And why rog?

HI All

Ok it's been a while, I've not been idle but life has stopped play a lot recently and I've been doing a lot of building. Nothing exciting really just more guardsmen.

However I did manage to finish my StormSword since last I posted. I was going to name it something epic life "purgation of the wicked" or "Daemon Hammer" but after painting it only one name seemed right. So here he is "big Blue"

as well as Big Blue i've managed to build pretty much all my guard, only bits not built now are a pcs, a chimera, a armoured sentinel and a few kit bashed commissars but my infantry company is pretty much built. Sorry picture is rubbish.

and i've made a start on my marines, shown hear playing with my nids

with all this still to do and sixth i won't be running out of stuff anytime soon.

thanks for looking

Hi All

I've recently been side tracked yet again, damn you life! but i've recently started playing Necromunda and must say I love it. The vested interest in in gang adds a real air on tension to the games. Any how I've finally painted my gang so hear they are.

White Stags: The Whole Gang

a really poor picture of my leader, really need to get a picture of than this as the focus is all out.

a slightly better one of red

Taurca a Ganger with hand flamer and auto pistol

Sambar a ganger with Shot gun

Roe, a ganger with lasgun

Fallow, the gangs sharpshooter with lasgun

Brocket, ganger with autogun and training to be a cutter

Juve Pudu, top boy

Juve Chital, laspistol and knife

apologies for the quality of the photos but I get shaky hand syndrome so rest the camera on the desk, problem is can't really what i'm doing.
