Ive decided instead of using my spinner (i doesnt spin well, nobody who bought it at the same time as me does either) and get a 8 sided dice, much easier.

I had a similar thought of buying the limited edition magic dice, you know the ones with a different colour for each lore, roll he dice and the highest is the ascending lore (re-roll or discard doubles maybe?) will have to nab some dice quick!

I just looked, and they're all gone.
It sucks, because I haven't even been paid since SoM was released, so didn't get a chance!

Yes. The Dominance spell for Ruin is a vortex that moves around 3d6 inches and inflicts S3 hits on models it goes over. If the vortex moves 13" then you place a vermin lord 13" away from where the vortex stops.
Skaven like the number 13! And it is supposed to be unlucky!

A Wise Ork once said a profound word: WAAAAAAAGH! Then he got trampled in the incoming stampede!

I think it looks like a lot of fun something I would like to play when I learn to play fantasy better.

And what support will it need exactly? You will have the rules, you can buy the models. What else does it need?

The support to continue for years instead of just being a flash in the pan and not being able to find anyone else to play that style of game with.

I nabbed 2 packs, I'm sure you can get some on ebay for around the original cost, +/- just a bit... I'd do it soon, though. Fortunately the multi-colored pack was the last to sell out (I think, I know there was some Lore of Light ones left too when I ordered) and should be the most readily available second-hand.

Well, if your gaming group doesn't want to keep playing it, that's not GW's lack of support. This is basically Apocalypse for Fantasy. It's an expansion, not a campaign like the older books like Albion. The support it will get is likely to be the same support Apocalypse gets, which is new datasheets (scrolls of binding) and updates if new rules affect it (like Apocalypse Reloaded).

And again, it comes down to your gaming group. There's people who said the same thing about Apocalypse (flash in the pan, didn't last more than one game, etc), and there's other gaming groups who play nothing but Apocalypse even now. If you want to dismiss it due to your gaming group not likely picking it up, that's normal and is going to happen. But just dismissing it and saying it'll have no support is stupid.
