Tau? Really? Last I checked, they were second from bottom on the power spectrum. What list does he run?

The army with the most broken rules?
That'd have to be Necrons. Living Metal, Warscythes, Portals, We'll Be Back, Gauss...
The army's not that great, but the special rules are ridiculous.

Always find these sort of threads intresting. Being new to the game I don't know how ANY of the armies work besides the very simple idea of how armies work. Like, Tau being shooty and orks being choppy
Also, nice to see that my new choice of chaos isn't going to annoy people. Was slightly worried that I would get my stuff on the table and hear "not this crap again" or some variation of it x3
Least I hope its not :s

Space Wolves by far I think.
Troops that are significantly more capable than other armies for a noticeable cost decrease, the most heavily armed heavy weapons unit in the game able to put its firepower to better use than equivalents for a ludicrously low price point, and probably the best psykers in the game for the same cost or less as others, along with some of the fightiest HQ's out there and more customization than almost any other MEQ army. The whole thing is just "we're space marines, but better, and also cheaper!".
GK's are also a bit silly, 5pt cost increases on their vehicles to essentially make them immune to stunned/shaken results? Really? Only 5pts? Some hilariously low prices for Psybolt ammo (5pts for a Rifleman dread...? Really Mat Ward?) and shennangigans with highly customizable min/max weeny Troops in the same army as the beastliest Marine units in the game.
BA's are also a bit off as well. The ability to field armor, especially *heavy* armor (i've seen BA armies with 9 AV13 units on the table), in quantities that can match that of the Imperial Guard, and more combat walkers than any other faction, in an army renowned for jump infantry and close assaults?

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

Wait, so just how many walkers can BA field?
Orks can get 11 Walkers out there.

Although I agree it isn't that fluffy, I think that adding the fast vehicles in BA was GW trying to give them different builds. Because without them we would only have one theme to build around.

Being a wolfy chap (hiding my bias of course!) I would say that any recently released army has the most overpowered rules! Dark Eldar with their inv saves all over the place and 'Agnes' the PMT suffering witch with her INCREDIBLY high stats appear massively overpowered! The other army (I also collect them) would have to be Grey Knights as they all seem to be able to do nearly everything from special hand-to-hand rules straight down to being able to psych the living daylights out of someone! EDIT: changed my mind, Black tepelars. Definitely.
