Copyright issues and such.

Then how does the you make the call on the rules discussion not get the site shut down? I think they frown upon posting full unit stats with points costs, and otherwise you can discuss the rules. Be a pretty jerk move for GW to come down on their community for discussing the rules.

So, what, expect it within a couple of weeks then? I kid, I kid.

I think extensive posting of rules for the sake of posting rules would get their hackles raised, but I think we're good now.

No one is making judgement at all. You say you reckon the rules, we tell you you're wrong and you argue that you're right, when in fact you're wrong. Pretty simple really.

As for deep strike you cannot move at all, unless running, or disembarking from a vehicle, which then would be 2".

So in the case of a drop pod, the contained unit could disembark within 2" of it.

Yes that's correct.

Well back on topic, my list is built for fun and so I can shoot, assault and have a bit of mechanized warfare. If I were to play in a competitive tournament I would definitely tweak it

Ahahahahaha. Still wrong.

You only go to the mishap table when the DS unit lands within 1" of an enemy model, lands on impassable terrain, or scatters off the table. Landing in difficult/dangerous terrain means you take a dangerous terrain test, nothing more.

You brighten my life like a polystyrene hat, but it melts in the sun like a life without love, and I've waited for you so I'll keep holding on without you.

Competitive players certainly do not rely on units like Abaddon to "pull them through". Do you know what competitive players rely on for the most part? Units with duality, redundancy, reliability and mobility. Do you know why Mech/MSU is so strong? Because Vehicles are hard to kill and give you great mobility. Do you know why Long Fangs are so good? Because they're cheap, accurate, and the ubiquitous Missile Launcher can be used against Mech, MC and Hordes. See how that works? No matter what you're opponent is bringing, Long Fangs can contribute in some way. That's what competitive lists do.

Dreadnoughts in drop pods getting to assault afterwards? Because your opponent didn't bring Melta weapons for some reason?

Unless you actually understand all of this, and it's pretty clear that you don't, I wouldn't recommend making broad, sweeping statements about other peoples lists and playing styles.

when he says about Abbadon pulling through he means how i use Abbadon (which i didn't realise untill now thanks for the tactic summary )

and he dose know his lists he just doesn't like seeing the same list over-and-over again its dead repetitive and predictable and you should actually see his dreadnought rip apart my precious deffy on his turn and when you say melta weaponry how can you use melta weaponry on his turn eh?

what he wants is a competitive but not a predictable list so while you go on telling him that he doesn't know his lists next time read what he trying to say before you give him a lecture about how long fangs are tactical because he already knows how tactical they are.

oh and before i forget Ratwolf have an army full of dreads in drop pods mainly because that's cool and not repetitive.

And also what point did I say that he was in assault he could have been ripping apart my deffy, with his multi-melta and I usually dont have enough fire power to destroy it ( is all I have to say).

You had me confused when you were saying about assault that's why I said stuff about dreadnoughts, assaulting, because I got confused by You two and The many times I have played my friend, so thank you for making a mockery of me.
