Good call. I went back and looked at the model, and you're right. Man, I loved that show.
On topic, the Daemon box set is a savings of about $35 or so for us in America, but from what I hear from 'Ard Boyz the [successful] daemon players are running bloodletters, horrors and plaguebearers. Daemonettes really arent spectacular-in either game, actually. Seekers are great in 40k though. They earn a place there. But once you factor out the semi-uselessness of the daemonettes, the box is suddenly only a $5 savings, plus a couple sprues of bitz, torsos and trades.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind. |

Nice models to be fair, but the Lolstralian prices are a bit mental:
BF = 175
Herald = 61
Banner = 33
I guess you can double dip it into 2 systems at least.

Minor update or rather educated guess by MajorWesJanson who spoke with Jes Goodwin:
IIRC, the exact words from Jes when asked about the Void Raven release were "I'll know when I am holding the sprues in my hands." Rather ambiguous. Try not to attribute anything more to Jes, as he did not give any indicator on release dates, and I tried not to press on that area.
Speaking of sprues, it ought to be broken into 3 tank sprues, compared to the Razorwing's two. Main fuselage as one part, from the engines to the nose fairing, with clear plastic angular canopy as the nose proper. Larger canards maybe as part of the belly plate. Wings will be separate parts, split between the engines (4 engines) with missiles mounted to the bottom of the engines, and short/stubby void lances in pods outboard of the engines. Very nice looking. My guess is that it will be at the same price point as the Valkyrie/Storm Raven given the size and number of sprues.
My personal guess, the two other Court models will be out third week of September, and the Void Raven in maybe December or January. A Holiday release would fit, one of several models across ranges along with bringing back the holiday bundles (troops + transports, Megaforces and Army deals, Fortress of Redemption and Imperial City, things like that usually are out in December. All my guesses though.
how can you describe it in such detail? Did you se some sketches or something?
And discussed the sprue breakdown with Jes Goodwin. He's a great person to talk with and puts a ton of thought into the models he designs, details that influence the model but may never actually be seen on the model.
There was concept art for the Void Raven and all four of the court, in addition to older Dark Eldar concept and design work. SSlyth looks fun in an evil four armed snake kind of way, while the poisoner looks rather regal.
(...)
He's currently doing design work and mentoring new sculptors, not making anything at the moment. Not that he could/would say if he were
(...)
Plus he puts a ton of thought into his models. "Design work" may be the same sort of concept art and ideas that come before any new sculpts like we saw with Dark Eldar. Mentoring new sculptors is good as well. More sculptors means maybe more models. Expansion of the Collector's range would be nice.

£65 for the battleforce is too overpriced. I remember the good old days when they were £50... which is still pretty expensive.

£65 is alot, yes, but you are still making significant saving on getting them seperate.

If you can keep your head, while all about you are losing their's, then you have probably completely misunderstood the situation!
