Dice hates me.

I have so many examples of my dice rolling ones when I just need a 2+.

One of my friends asked me to demonstrate my bad luck. This was during a game of Epic spacemarines, so I showed him the squat Cyclops which hits it´s target on a 2+, I told him what I aimed at and explained what would happen in case I rolled 2+.
So I took one dice and rolled and 1. I tried again and rolled another 1, that´s when my friend left, laughing....

Another time I had scored 5 hits on a chariot and since this was my trollslayers they would automatically wound on a 4+. I rolled five 1´s.

Many years ago I tried warzone, 1 ed. Great game. In this game there was a unit that could parachute in. You put the sergeant on the table and rolled a 20 sided dice. 1-19 was the direction the next man would land, on a 20 the parachute didn´t work and your mini died.
I rolled three 20 in a row.

And the list goes on...

It's probably more correct to say it's extremely unlikely it would happen. It could the next time that situation comes up.

One thing about 'luck' is that we notice the extremes and unusual situations a lot more than we notice the countless 'uninteresting' results. Look at the guys who have done research into how random various brands of dice are: to get useful data they need to make thousands of rolls.

SO yes, sometimes the dice are on my side, sometimes they are not.
