It's probably more correct to say it's extremely unlikely it would happen. It could the next time that situation comes up.
One thing about 'luck' is that we notice the extremes and unusual situations a lot more than we notice the countless 'uninteresting' results. Look at the guys who have done research into how random various brands of dice are: to get useful data they need to make thousands of rolls.
