i believe it was the 4th turn my chaos marine army vs dark eldar i was down to my raptors & land raider, surrounded the guy could not finish me off due mostly to bad dice rolls then it was my turn my raptors layed waste to all of his kabal warriors by way of a very lucky dice rolls & armour save rolls next he attacked my land raider with his raider craft, didnt make a dent anyway to wrap things up i got in a large number of lucky rolls & send his army running for the hills

This one happened to me at a doubles tornament at warhammer world not that long ago.
My patner had his storm bolter blown off his empty rhino, which was right next to Sly Marbo.
He Tank Shocked Marbo with the rhino, and Marbo declered a Death or Glory. He needed anything other than double one with his melta bomb.
And rolled double one.
Marbo got run over by a Rhino.

I think it was around the time 4th ed had just come out. It was a 3000 point game of my Death Wing vs an Imperial Guard Armoured Company. Back then terminators could use drop pods and could have 2 heavy weapons per squad, and tank hunter. Man terminators rocked back then oh for those days. He set up all of his tanks, and had nothing to shoot at on turn 1 because all of my terminators and dread were in reserve via drop pods. On turn two all of my units except 2 arrived. He was tabled by turn 3 and I only lost 2 terminators in the whole game.

Playing a modified game type. It was 500 pt marines vs 500 pt IG on a half sized board. I was playing 500 pts of nurgle sitting on the only objective in the middle while their goal was to wipe me out and take the obj. No turn limits.
I charged a squad of 5 PBs into 3 combat squads of marines w/ a captain to slow them down for a turn or two. Killed the captain turn 1, lost 1 PB. Then 6 turns of CC later, lost 0 PB and killed ~3 more marines. Then my nurglings killed enough IG to ramp up epidimuses counter and those 4 PB killed 4 marines turn 7, 4 more turn 8 and then routed, chased after and cut down the squads.
5 PB v 15 tac marines and a captain. Thank the plague father for FNP. Jus tthe feeling of 8 turns of CC to route out so many marines at once, so great.
While simultaneously eating every IG with a horde of nurglings of course :p

Sarge: Quick, Kill them!
Grunt: Wait, but those are ladies, we cant hurt ladies.
Sarge: Those arent ladies, they're Deamonettes. They will tear you limb from limb and eat your soul.

Always a little funny and sad when that happens. It was one of the games that made my friend decide (wisely) to wait to play Necrons until a new codex came out. Marines vs. Crons (running 3-lith). Turn one, Marine player rolls up 6 inches, fires a Lascannon off a Land Raider, and blows one of the three to smithereens.

An Ork Warboss on a bike detached from a nob biker squad to charge my guardians (about 4-5 guardians plus a warlock).
The guardians killed him in close combat.
My opponent was such a good sport that he gave me an Ork head as a trophy.
I now have a guardian with a shuriken catapult in one hand and an Ork head in the other.

Playing against my friends Tau in a small game (IIRC 500pts), he had my Salamanders pinned behind cover and was gradually moving around it to pincer my units.
I got annoyed and charged my Chaplain out in front of his army, running through fire from Firewarriors and an Ion Cannon armed Hammerhead. He took 2 turns of fire, took no wounds, reached the big unit of Firewarriors, beat them and ran them down.
It broke his attacks back, and I got my other squads out and cleaned up the rest. That started my old Chaplains invulnerability - he rarely ever died, even taking Railgun shots to the face and saving from his trusty Rosarius.

Tabling a Space Marine army turn 1. By a combination of truly excellent dice rolling on my part, horrific dice luck on my opponents part, and my opponents mistake of deploying everything as though he were going 1st or sure of seizing the initiative when i had won the roll to go first, I managed to pop every tank turn 1, then blast each infantry unit with battlecannons as it was forced to disembark (he didn't bother to deploy them behind the hulks but rather in tight clumps on the sides in full view of LRBT's) or force enough casualties to warrant leadership tests, I wiped or broke every unit on the first turn and each unit that broke managed to just hit the board edge when running away.
EPIC WIN!

Numberless Necron Warrior
|
Greatest moment... wasnt mine but was against me. 1500pt game Necrons vs Chaos Space Marines
Turn one. I take out everything but, two chimeras(both immobilized and to far away, no threat), two obliterators and a chaos lord.
I only lose 3 warriors
Turn two. I take out two obliterators and put two wounds on the chaos lord.
Turn 3-5. Chaos Lord survives 3 rounds of double monolith fire, kills both lords in CC, eliminates all but 6 of my warriors.
Chaos lord single handidly took out my entire army and phased me out.
Thoughts were: there's no way this guy is going to survive 3 rounds of shooting and assaulting.. Necron epic fail... Chaos lord made so many saves it was godly

Most Epic Kill:
Archon and incubi charge some destroyers and a monolth. Archon hits the monolith with a haywire. Rolls a 6, penning it. Rolls another 6, blowing it up. And finally rolls a third 6 for distance. the blast takes down a necron warrior, a destroyer, 2 incubi, a scarab swarm, and 3 wyches (wyches and scarabs were fighting nearby).
Funniest Incident:
14 Hormagaunts charged the nightbringer (didnt realize that the boost to strength from FC doesnt count for purposes of the nightbringer pushing things away). They had poison so they killed him pretty easily. But the resulting blast killed all but one
Most Unbelievable Dice:
kill point game. I had an immobilized raider with a flickerfield sitting about halfway up the board. I was playing against a BA army. Turn 5, he shoots the raider with 2 TL las razors and 1 typhoon speeder (hv bolter too). 3 pens and a glance. I made all 4 flickerfield saves. Game went on to turn 6. He fired the same stuff at it along with a meltagun and some pistols from a squad nearby. 3 pens. 3 saves.
game went on to turn 7. He fired the same stuff as last turn and then charged. 3 pens and 2 glances from shooting. Saved all but one glance that stunned it. Used krak grenades in assault and a meltabomb on the sarge. 2 pens and 1 glance. Saved all but a pen that knocked the gun off. So of 15 saves required, I made 13. I guess my flickerfield thought it was a shadowfield for a few turns
