Got started about two weeks before Games Workshop's Armies on Parade and laid out the 'Mek Workshop'
The Forge World Belly Gun piece lined up okay - but needed a little bit of bending to get it to fix on the front of the Stompa correctly.
Got everything lined up on the front, again the fitment was a pain towards the top of the Stompa resulting in a small gap between the plastic and the resin..
Put together the Evil Eye in da Sky's head and placed the Commanding Ork -
Excuse the jump in progress - I used the Stompa's front plastic pieces that I didn't use for the landing pad for the Deff Koptas, got those Deff Koptas out, put together the close combat arm and sprayed the whole thing with Chaos Black, followed by Army Painter Crystal Blue.
Then as I plowed through the final 48 hours.. unfortunately, my progress pics stopped and I skip straight to the end. I used an extra Deff Jet wing as a missile rack, painted up a dozen grots of various types, painted the Deff Koptas and attached them with floral wire to the main Stompa body, painted the stompa panels and details, used army painter dip and spit out my Evil Eye In Da Sky Version 2.0 for Armies on Parade 2013!
Ork Deff Kopta coming in for a landing - guided in by a grot..
I took this Mekky Goodness to
GW store at The Avenue in White Marsh and went up against no other but the distinguished Dave Taylor..

Placed 2 out of 2 (wooHoo) !
And afterwards played with Dave Taylor's massive bridge display board and had the Eye in da Sky stomp across it for giggles..
Thanks for stopping in!
