Just when one thinks it can't get any better...

You've very much captured the essence of the buzzsaw marines. These are the scariest 'good guys' I've seen. If somebody does a fandex for FT, then you really deserve to be in the gallery!

Another bitz question: how did you build the TL flamers for the razorback?

I've sometimes considered starting fleshtearers. If I ever do start them, I want them to look just like THAT

Your work is awesome! Really love the detail put into these models, they really do look just like what I would Imagine. Cant wait to see more! Big fan of your characters!

Thanks so much guys!

Wolf Luer, you asked about the TL Heavy Flamers on the Razorback - those are actually from the Sisters of Battle Immolator kit. That's a great kit. It also comes with Twin Linked Multi-Melta and Twin Linked Heavy Bolters.

Where did you get that head for the death company dread?

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

Very well executed style of conversions/painting throughout the entire army. The only one I was 'meh' with was Mephiston. I think the armor/robes get a bit muddled as they are the same color. It's well painted, but think a different color should have been used on the robes or armor to make both stand out more.

Overall, great work and thanks for sharing.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Thanks so much for the compliment!

I actually do not own an airbrush. This is all brush painted.

Anointed Dark Priest of Chaos

My regular opponent has played Flesh Tearers for many years so the sight of these maniacs causes me flashbacks and a sense of dread.

I will be passing along a link to this thread to him so he can see the buzzsaw effect on your vehicles which is superb.

The chaplain is also stunning.

REALLY great work man. I too want to have my BA to represent the Flesh Tearers. Question though, what man you come up with the flesh tones for their faces? Also, this could be a long shot but what paint method did you use? Paint choices, washes, and brushes? Thank you for sharing, I am inspired and will get on my army asap! Keep them coming!

Yes... Yes... the skin is definitely my favorite part. It really gives them the look to fit the role, although that priest's face looks a little iffy... Maybe it's the camera focus or the model sculpt, but the mouth looks a bit off.

Question: Did you do the chapter badge by hand or is it a decal? And if it's a decal, where did you get them?

These really are very good. The highlights on the black look really nice. It's easy to over highlight and make it look silly. But non of that here. And the skim tones are perfect.
Really good work mate.
