Yes. Let the shame flow through you
Oh, I can feel it.
Rather hilarious, it's the only loadout that has gotten me a quad kill.
On Bridge Seize Control, I turned the corner to run towards B, stopped, stared at the whole enemy team (who stared back). They started pouring bullets into me as I threw every grenade I had. Like, two of them got away
Nice.
Mine was on Waste Management, got three of them at B, waited a second, threw the fourth grenade after a bit, got the fourth kill with that one, too late to get a Quad Skull Kill, if such a thing even exists XD

Quad skull does exsist, as does multi-kill which is 5+ I've only ever managed a triple kill using nades, may have been a quad as I got the award but can't remember if I had shot someone.
At first I hated the Raptor/Assault class, but after rolling with two buddies using mumble I started to love it, Assault when packing up is amazing.
I just wished they would disable the ingame VOIP as I hate having to mute my entire team after every round.
This reminds me, is there a steam group for Dakka yet?
I'm still trying to get the hang of the Thunder Hammer/Deamon Maul
It is a very tricky weapon to learn how to use, but I try to use all of them a little, except for the vengeance launcher, game is to fast paced to set up traps it seems to me.
Here is my steam info, if anyone wants to group up to play just shoot me a message, I do have a mumble server I can hijack for the time being, we have it for my guilds SWTOR launch so no promises we can keep using it after.
Doing a quick search for steam groups, there are alot of hits for Dakka and Dakka Dakka, and a couple claiming to be the official steam group but they have all of about 3 members in them.
Ive gotten a 5 banger with the assault marine in manufactorium by throwing a blind grenade at the team as they stood on their point at the very beginning (by bypassing my point) and crashing into them with the thunder hammer, swinging blindly while blinded... XD

I always do that on waste management, just run straight for their point (A or C). Throw blinds in, and pop out any weapon you feel like killing stuff with.

He's a gears fanboi. Who actually listens to gears fanbois when it comes to deciding if a game is any good? Obviously Gears is the greatest game ever made and completely original and totally not a complete 100% rip off of Kill Switch with a little Unreal flare. He didn't even play the damn multiplayer.
We can at least rest assured that he's the dumbest guy in the room... Him and the 16 other people out of the 11000 who rated the video that is
BTW. Space Marine is a lot like Gears. Lets get over it people.

That is a fething awful piece of gak review. And I'm only at 1:30 so far.
Of course that means I'm only in 10-15 seconds of the review due to the ridiculously stupid intro.
Oh god I'm listening to it as I type this and he just made the "girl" comments. Jesus, this guy should never breed.
I think posting that vid should count as trolling.

As someone who has clocked in a good 500+ hours between both Gears games (being conservative), no, no it's not. I don't see why everyone keeps saying it is. Yes, the Meltagun can be used as a shotgun, and the same strategies apply for the Gnasher (Except the Swat Shot, can't recreate that without cover.....), but the Meltagun, and the fact that it's a 3PS, they are totally different.

He may be genuinely ignorant of it.

Not good enough.
I want him and all evidence of his existence destroyed. You, me and Slarg can be spared.

I can only honestly see two other classes working, and even then, I don't think they would fit into the current "Soft Rock Paper Scissors":
Techmarine/Dark Mechanicus: Capable of building turrets like a boss. Turrets only deal small amounts of damage, but hey, it's another gun, and he can have two or three of them up at a time.
Chaplain/Demagague: Melee class (Think Raptor without jump pack) that provides buffs for nearby allies (Health regen, extra damage, the like).
About the only things I could think of, but I honestly don't think the game needs them.

Only if the Techmarine shouts "Gottam!" when a turret is destroyed.
Man, now I want them.

Agreed. The more unique classes added the harder balance gets. Balance is pretty good right now for my griping. Armor pieces would still be cool though.

As to this I also agree the game does not need them. However I would like to be able to see each class be able to earn Terminator armour as a high level perk. The terminator armour would obviously offer about double the normal armour (but no health bonus). To balance this they would have to be very slow, both their normal walking and sprinting would be slower than a PA marine. In addition they can only do a small "hop" like the devastator. They would also not be able to use any grenades or stims. Each class would obviously be able to have different weapons, devastators would get assault/reaper cannons, tactical would get the standard storm bolter and power fist and assault would get lightning claws.

I like it so far, I feel it's a bit too linear at times, maybe a bit more of an exploration area would be good. Been playing Demons Souls and that's a fairly big game. It feels a bit clunky at times, how one minute your walking, then you have a jumppack, then you're in a Valkyrie, maybe a better pace?
I like the weapons so far, the Lascannon has been fun and the experimental Vengeance Launcher is pretty cool to. I picked up the Meltagun but haven't used it.
I've noticed a few graphics issues which will hopefully be rectified in the patch. Teleporting Orks and spazzy legs on Space Marines seem to be the most common.
I agree with the OP that the main issue is that there isn't an amazing about to do, having the Skull Probe side quest is a nice touch but once you have them all i can't imagine playing the campaign again.
I haven't had the pleasure of playing the MP yet as I am getting the NAT(?) issue, but looks to be pretty cool, but once again it's the current lack of variety. Hopefully there will be a good amount of DLC available to keep everyone happy.
