Only one month till list submissions are due and I think primers are out for both systems.

Any word Tim on Fridays lineup yet?

Will the INAT FAQ be in use for the Bugeater?

Ok Tim must be buisy so I did some digging for your answer. In the primer packet with rules for the event first bullet:

The Bugeater 40k GT will follow the Warhammer 40k Fifth Edition rules and all relevant Games Workshop FAQs and Erratas. An additional FAQ, generated in house, is provided in this packet to resolve any questions raised by the tournament judges or by players via email prior to the event.

So I would say no INAT. If you have a particular question I would suggest asking Tim for how they will rule it prior to play.

Hope this helps and hope to see you there!

Just wanted to ensure that this ruling would be in place:

IG.56A.01 – Q: Can a Valkyrie/Vendetta end its
movement with part of the model hanging off the
table as long as its base is fully on the table?

A: No, a Valkyrie/Vendetta must end its movement with the
entire model over the table [clarification]. Note that this
means it may have to move faster than ‘combat speed’
when moving onto the table from Reserve.

Hopefully Tim will answer this for ya. I think he is at Adepticon though, so maybe look for something after this weekend.

I also woundering what is planned for Friday if anything. I have some ideas that we could throw together at the Hotel if nothing is going on officially.

I think the KC crowd plans to roll in on Friday afternoon so hopefully there will be something fun to do.

I'm back!

Yes Adepticon kept me occupied. We will not be using INAT, but we will put out a tournament specific FAQ based on player questions. I'm composing the email right now, but wanted to answer on here as well. We'll definitely tackle the Valkyrie question. The FAQ will be put out ASAP so there's no surprises.

Friday night we will have official stuff going on. The only question is where - we're ironing out some details with a local establishment close to the school, but if that doesn't work out we'll have Friday night stuff at the school itself.

We've had requests for three things Friday night:
1. Kill Team
2. Blood Bowl
3. Open gaming

oh and
4. A chance to hang out and talk with cool cats.

I think we'll do those 4 things, and that's it!

If anyone things they have an inkling to attend, shoot me a PM or email and get on the waitlist. We are still sold out at the moment, but most people on the waitlist are now in because of drops or changes in plans. In the mean time, we've racked up a good amount of prize support to give away during our pre-round raffles. Should be a great year with BOTH events sold out!

Our latest prize support has arrived! We have 3 KR Multicases to give away for fantasy and 3 for 40k, plus two accessory cases. Like the majority of our prizes, these will be given away to a participant in the GT before the various rounds by randomly drawing names. Anyone has a chance at these awesome cases!

We're finalizing the details right now, but it looks like we'll have Blood Bowl going the whole night, and combat patrol games at 6, 7:30, and 9. We'll have a few tournament provided armies in case square basers want to play some small scale 40k. We will be raffling away items to the people that play in each round of combat patrol (some bags of bitz, some fantasy flight games, and maybe even one of the new flier kits ).

And of course - open tables to game if you want!

Edit: We will have the doors open at 5 for people - we're working out logistics to see if we can do early check in on Friday night to get swag bags out and things like that. We're going to send an email out this Friday with our final updates!

Curious as to the details of the matches will any be forthcoming? Congrats to the champs and the tournament crew for running another successful tournament.
