Yeah, polystyrene foam is fairly soft and as long as you press lightly it won't tear. I go over the same area probably 4-5 times, going a little deeper each time. I have also heard for really deep marks some people use a pen, then go over that with an exacto blade, and then a pen again. The exacto goes deeper then the pen rounds the edges. It can be fairly time consuming , but I did all the window trim and moulding on this building in probably about 3-4 hours all told. Thats not bad for upper and lower trim on 25 windows and four lengths of vertical trim.

I get that it's time consuming, that's not a huge deal. A quick way around it is to just get it perfect and then a cast if you do it A LOT. Either way, its highy effective. I thorougly enjoyed following this so far.

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

A work of awesomeness! I love the wallpaper, but at the risk of sounding too needy, where are the skirting boards? The transistion between wallpaper and floor is a little abrupt. (Also the doorbell scares me)

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I never even thought of doing a transition strip! Just when I thought I was done. Well, I guess I'll need to do something about that. And for the doorbell, come on, this is the grim darkness of the far future, there HAS to be at least one skull!
