The way i see it, there's very few T4 creatures that's worth their points.
- Why? Well, because you'd get a more efficient army by putting the points elsewhere. My philosophy is a mix of T6-models and cheap, amassed units works better.
It's too easy for opponents to
ID the T4 creatures. Your option here, though, may be to grant them cover, and
FnP from the Tervi'es. It works wonders. But each failed +4/+4 equals dead warriors, none the less.
- Not to mention, that when these fellows reach the enemy lines, there's high probability that they've got st8+ power weapons, meaning that you'd most likely get crushed here aswell.
The Prime
IC-option CAN make everything work. But i wouldn't bet on it.
As said: The cost for these guys are better placed elsewhere (i.e: another T6 model, or a good number of smaller ones). Same goes for upgrades on my big guys. Yeah, sure, the 10 pt upgrade looks good on paper. But one or two extra models looks much better on the table,
IMHO!
